Comic Book Dollhouse is an experimental toy for making and playing interactive comic books.
If youre new, Id suggest launching the program and opening "A Tale of Two Robots," a storyworld filled with danger, romance, and adventure. Mac OSX users should run "cbd X", and other Mac users should run "cbd."
Inspired by The Sims.
Enhancements:
- First Windows version. CBD now runs on MacOS9, OSX, and Windows.
- Verbs can have indirect objects.
- First incarnation of plot recognition and generation. The interface sucks, and execution time is O(2^n), so writing morphemes is hard and they might run real slowly if the story is long.
- The layout editor dynamically resizes the canvas.
- Verb pop up menu is layed out more intelligently.
- Story layout view is bigger; got rid of that useless white space.
- Stickers can be resized.
- Question mark scratch space added.
- Fixed a bug with updating the verb list in the object editor when a method was removed.
- Fixed an assert failure when copying and pasting verbs between actors and props.
- Tiny bug where you couldnt drag a preview object from one verb socket to another fixed.

MegaHAL/Mac 9.0.3 is a conversation simulator created by Jason Hutchens for the 1998 Loebner AI Contest, which enables you to talk to a psychotic AI. Unlike traditional conversation simulators (see Eliza), MegaHAL learns from what users tell it, and can build up a vocabulary on its own.

MegaHAL can also learn other languages, and it can speak to you with any voice you have installed on your Mac. MegaHAL's dialogue can invoke a whole range of emotions; you can never predict what it's going to tell you!

This is the same version of MegaHAL that comes with Debian Linux. It's been Carbonized to run under Mac OS X. MegaHAL is distributed under the GNU Public License; source code is included.

TjMSN was started as due to a lack of decent MSN Messenger clients for Linux, so I decided that I would write a client that was platform independent, so that I would run on both my desktop and laptop.

TjMSN now supports plugins to allow you to install features that not all users will want.

Chat Logger Web Server - When used in combiation with the chat logger, this will allow you to publish chat logs on a web server so that you can give people urls to view chat histories.

Eliza Autoreply - An auto reply plugin that uses the Eliza algorithm to have conversations for you while you are away from your computer.

Systray - Places a icon in the system tray for TjMSN.
