Wincent Strings Utility is a command line application designed to be called from within Xcode shell script build phases. In its first mode of operation it merges changes from the localizable strings files in the development language into existing localized variants.
In its second mode of operation it can be used to preprocessed localized InfoPlist.strings files by scanning them for Info.plist keys and performing substitutions of values such as copyright year and version number.

STScripting framework is an abstraction/spin-off of code from two other Subsume Technologies projects: AgentD and its own spin-off, GenericMain. It isolates most of the code that is useful in converting between strings and objects or C values.
While its feature set is still focussed on the needs of command line messaging, we intend to expand the framework to make it much more useful as a scripting language. WebScript its not, but sometimes you dont need that level of overkill.

Lingua - localize RealBasic application more>>
This is the RealSoftware program to localize RealBasic application. With Lingua, you can directly test your translation in the built application.
Lingua is the application that is going to be used to translate strings for REALbasic applications. It is a free utility that can be used to localize applications made with REALbasic.
The first step in localizing is to make "dynamic" constants of any strings you want to be localizable. A common approach is to create a "Strings" module, but you can put these constants anywhere. In REALbasic you can mark a constant as dynamic if its type is "String."
When all of your strings have been turned into dynamic constants, and you want to localize your application to another language, choose File->Export Localizable Values. Select the language you are localizing to, and select Export.
The file created can be opened by Lingua on Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X.
Inside of Lingua, you are presented with a list of all the strings of your application. The values are grayed out when there is no localized version. If there are any different values specific to Windows, Linux, or Mac OS X, there will be an icon to the far right of the string in the list.
Similar to strings, the icons will be grayed out if the value is not localized.
