Anytime you want to see todays discordian date, just access the menu under the golden apple (selecting the menu item copies the date to the clipboard).
On the off chance that you want the discordian date for any day but today, the Calendar menu item will allow you to pick a day to calculate the date for.
By default, Today In Discordia displays the current discordian date along with a random quote when it launches. This behavior can be turned off in the Preferences panel, if you are so inclined.
