RCEnvironment 1.4 brings you a useful Mac OS X 10.1 or higher preference pane that allows a user to edit their ~/.MacOSX/environment.plist file. This file is simply a property list of keys and values that the login system will read and load into the process environment of all applications that are launched when the user logs in. These variables are the same as environment variables that can be created in a command line shell (eg: sh or csh), but they also can be seen by GUI applications. In this, these environment variables are somewhat similar to Windows' Environment User Variables.
Major Features:
- While the PropertyListEditor that Apple provides with the developer tools can be used to edit this file, that tool allows more flexibility than should be specified in the environment file, plus you have to install the developer tools to get that tool, while this is a simple editor that ensures the file is setup correctly and does not require the developer tools.
- Be for use with MacOS X 10.1 or higher. It comes with source code if you want to see how it works.
Enhancements:
- Built with a 64-bit Intel binary to work with Snow Leopard's System Preferences.
- Added German translation thanks to Tim de Buhr.

The Classic Environment? 1.01 is a useful tool which informs you when Classic is launched.
There is no longer an icon in the Dock signifying when Classic is loaded. The Classic Environment? is an AppleScript application designed to do just that...let you know when Mac OS X has launched Classic.
To install, simply place The Classic Environment? in the Startup Items folder in the Classic System Folder.
For added convenience, place The Classic Environment? in the Dock as well, either by dragging it into the Dock, or control-clicking on the icon once it is loaded and selecting "Keep In Dock". After doing this, Classic in Mac OS X can be opened by just clicking on The Classic Environment? in the Dock (no need to go to the System Preferences!

Speakers, actors, reporters, singers, narrators, and others can use Presentation Prompter from practice to production. Here are some of the features that set it apart from traditional teleprompters:
Smooth, Adjustable Scrolling
Adjust scrolling from a slider in the toolbar, the keyboard, or optionally moving your mouse up or down in Prompt Mode. Forward and reverse scrolling are supported, in addition to using a mouse scrollwheel for temporary fast-forward and rewind.
Distinct Two-Mode System
Edit Mode provides an environment for importing and editing scripts. Prompt Mode presents a hardcopy of scripts and takes care of nuances like disabling the screensaver and preventing your computer from taking a nap mid-session.
Full Range of Styles and Fonts
Unlike other teleprompters, Presentation Prompter does not limit you to a single text style or font. You have full control over the font, color, style, line spacing, tab indents, and fine tuning features like kerning.
Interface Edge
Intuitive Cocoa interface that follows the Mac conventions. System-wide font, color, and find panels. Customizable toolbar. Spell checking. Built-in help guide. The standards and conveniences youve come to expect from a Mac app.
Automatic Text Control
Most teleprompters require you to edit your text in a goofy size 40 font with funky colors. Presentation Prompter can let you edit scripts like you would in a word processor and automatically adjust the size and colors for reading purposes when you go to Prompt Mode.
Instant Mirroring
Single screen mirroring. Flip a document for use through a mirror enclosure instantly. Useful in cases where the talent will be reading through a mirror enclosure and also controlling scroll speed.
Images in Scripts
Include images in scripts. Useful for text separators or "slidecasting".
