Searchgasm is a free solution that enhances searching with ActiveRecord. Conditions are automatically added for each column and usable anywhere you specify conditions (named scopes, relationships, find, etc.).

Enhancements:

FreeMat includes several novel features such as a codeless interface to external C/C++/FORTRAN code, parallel/distributed algorithm development (via MPI), and plotting and visualization capabilities. FreeMat is available under an MIT-type license. Supported platforms include Linux, Windows and Mac OS X.
Its been nearly a year (!) since the last release of FreeMat. A new version is now ready for testing. I have elected to release it as a Release Candidate instead of a full release because of the significant changes that have been made since version 1.1.

- Handle-based Graphics including 3D surface plots, multiple plots per figure, and full customization of axes properties. Preliminary support for OpenGL rendering.
- Support for MATLAB-style classes and object oriented programming, including operator overloading.

- Speed improvements and optimizations (some loops are 10-100 times faster).
- Preliminary support for reading and writing MATLAB .MAT files.

- Native Aqua application on Mac OS X.
- Linux distribution now includes a binary release that should run on several distributions.

Runs the periodic daily, weekly or monthly tasks on your Mac even if the machine (a laptop, for example) spends much of its time either asleep or switched-off. Anacron checks when you reboot and every sixty minutes while the machine is running and to see if the various periodic scripts are overdue, and runs them if necessary. It runs automatically, requires no operator intervention, and will run both the default daily, weekly, and monthly scripts and any local additions.

Yould uses Markov chains trained on a large body of prose. It records the frequency of letter transitions in the text then generates random number and pick letter transtition with the closest frequency. A Markov chain may use an arbitrary number of memory states. Yould uses two past states. The result is good with English and French but is produces many impossible words in Finnish.
