Nageographer is a graphical configuration editor for visual host status maps produced by Nagios (a host monitoring tool).

I wrote this application for my own use at the Mozilla Foundation managing our Nagios installation. I thought others might find it useful, so Im putting it out there. If you have improvements for it, please post them in the tracker on Sourceforge. http://sourceforge.net/projects/nageographer

The application does require a local copy of your Nagios configuration. The default location is ~/Library/Nagios. It expects to contain a copy of the contents of your /etc/nagios directory in ~/Library/Nagios/etc and a copy of the logos directory (with the icons in it) in ~/Library/Nagios/logos.
You can change that location in the preferences if you want it somewhere else.

When you launch the app, itll do nothing. Choose Open from the File menu, then locate your hostextinfo.cfg file. It will also need your hosts.cfg file (in order to draw the links between hosts), but it will assume that is in the same directory. The only file it writes out when you save it is hostextinfo.cfg.

As far as I know, this only works with Nagios 1.2s config files.

TestRunner is a simple framework for running simple unit tests on Cocoa projects.
There are other, more complete testing frameworks out there, most notably UnitKit (Xcode integration, Objective-C-integration), TestKit, OCUnit (old and proven) and ObjCUnit. The problem with them is that they try too much. All except UnitKit tries to be JUnit, with mixed success. Like just about every other open-source project out there, they dont come with that much documentation, which is bad, considering how much functionality they contain. All, again except UnitKit, lack Xcode integration, which is odd, since it so damn simple.

- Can run tests in one class or multiple classes
- Can set log format (and Xcode-integration log format).

Ever wondered why you simply just cant listen to album previews on the iTunes Music Store in one continuous flow? Why after each track you need to click that play-button again?

Well, stop wondering. pearPlay lets you easily discover new music on the Music Store without interruption.
All you need to do is have pearPlay running on your Dashboard and it will magically switch to the next track just before the current preview ends. Listen to todays top-songs, the latest album from your favorite artist, the celebrity playlist of the person youve never heard of... its never been this easy to discover new music. And best of all, pearPlay only cares for Music Store previews, so you can still listen to your library tracks in full length - no special action required.

How does it work? Well, its pretty simple.
When you listen to a song-preview in iTunes and you switch to the next track during playback, the new preview will start to play immediately. However, if you wait for the preview to finish, iTunes will stop playback.
Now, everything pearPlay does is to make sure that iTunes is switched to the next track just before the preview ends, and thus keeps iTunes in playback-mode. You can adjust the preview length to anything you would like, but keep in mind that anything over 30 seconds will cause iTunes to stop before pearPlay gets a chance to switch to the next track. Good values for preview length are for example at around 28-29 seconds (with the standard 30 seconds previews).

Note that you need to be logged into your iTunes account to prevent the iTunes login-popup from appearing after every 10 songs or so, as this will also stop playback. You should also have the option for downloading whole song previews before playback begins disabled.

pearPlay is provided as Universal Binary for PowerPC and Intel systems.

ecnaraeppA (read it backwards, in case you still havent) is a Mac OS control panel that lets you select Large and Small System Fonts for use by Roman and Hebrew applications, the Views Font, and the associated Roman fonts.
ecnaraeppA is like an extended verison of the Fonts tab of the Appearance control panel, that gives you full control over System Fonts in a bilingual environment.
Main features:
- Lets you select any reasonable combination of Roman, Hebrew and Associated System Fonts.
- You can select a Hebrew font as a System Font for Roman text (this is not recommended, but is sometimes useful.)
- English-International and Hebrew versions available.
- Full documentation in English and in Hebrew.
Enhancements:
- Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented openning the control panel under Mac OS versions earlier than 9.0.

CarbonEventTimer is an open source module that allows you to easily implement Carbon Event based timers in your REALbasic application!

This can be more efficient than other timer solutions, especially if you need a lower delay time than the built-in timer class provides.

ASTranslate is a simple learning/development tool for translating application commands written in AppleScript to their appscript equivalents.

Just launch ASTranslate and type or paste one or more AppleScript commands into the top half of the window then select Document > Translate. The AppleScript code is compiled and executed, and the bottom pane displays each Apple event sent by AppleScript as Python appscript code.

Flickrator is an Ajax based widget, that allow you to search images on Flickr.
You have only to type something in the search box and press enter (or click on the search icon), and in few seconds a thumbnails series will appears.

When clicking on a thumbnail, it will show a preview of the original image, which will open the original image into your default browser, once clicked.
