Mail Scripts 2.9.1
Workflow-enhancing AppleScripts for Mail & Address Book. more>>
Mail Scripts 2.9.1 comes as a combination of AppleScript Studio applications for Mail and Address Book offering additional features or simplified workflow. Mail Scripts are fully localized in English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Greek, Brazilian Portuguese, and Norwegian. Mail Scripts consists of the following scripts:
- Add Addresses (Mail): Add addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields "From", "To", "Cc", and "Bcc") to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the "Add Sender to Address Book" available in Mail and provides a convenient way for creating mailing lists.
- Archive Messages (Mail): Move messages from the selected mailbox(es) to an archive mailbox or export them to standard mbox or plain text files for backup purposes or import into other applications. You can select to move all messages or only messages sent within or certain period as well filter messages based on their read and flagged status.
- Change SMTP Server (Mail): Switch between different already defined SMTP servers or define a new one. This is especially useful if you are using your computer in more than one location and have to switch servers for several accounts at once.
- Create Rule (Mail): Create a new rule based on the first of the selected messages. This saves you the trouble of copy/pasting address or other info between the message and the rule window and provides a much quicker way for setting up a rule with multiple criteria/actions.
- Remove Duplicates (Mail): Locate all duplicate messages found in the selected mailbox(es) and move them to a separate mailbox for easy removal (duplicate matching is based on the unique message header "Message-Id").
- Schedule Delivery (Mail): Allows you to send individual messages at predefined times (this script uses iCal for scheduling message delivery).
- Send all Drafts (Mail): Immediately send all messages in the "Drafts" folders for all accounts. This saves you from having to open each draft in order to send it.
- Open Mailbox, Open Message (Mail): Two small faceless scripts which will open mailboxes with new messages or the new messages themselves when run as a rule action.
- Filter Sent Messages (Mail): Another faceless scripts which will apply your rules to the messages in the "Sent" mailbox.
- Export Addresses (Address Book): Export addresses from the Address Book into tab-delimited text files. You can select which groups and which fields you want to export.
- Search Addresses (Address Book): Find all addresses inside the Address Book matching one or more criteria. As opposed to the "Search" function built into the Address Book, this lets you search in any field as well as for empty and non-empty fields. As an example, you might use this script to search for all phone numbers with a certain area code in order to update your contacts after an area code change.

Serial Mail 4.6
A plug-in for the Mail application to generate serial mailings (mail merge, bulk mail) using data provided by an Address Book group more>>
Serial Mail 4.6 is built as a plug-in for the Mail application which can generate serial mailings (mail merge, bulk mail) using data provided by an Address Book group.
The script will process the message body of the (selected) template message and replace certain tags by their corresponding value from the Address Book for each recipient. You may use custom data by specifying your own labels in the "related names" section of the persons Address Book entry (e.g. "Assistant", "Customer number", etc.) and the script will replace the corresponding tags by the corresponding Address Book values (Example: Use the script to inform students of their score (and other stuff), which is stored in AddressBook).
The program supports almost any of the data fields of the OS X Address Book, including user defined fields. The template rules are also applied to the subject line (so you may generate custom subject lines). Rich text emails may be created (but plain text templates are processed faster).
Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.5.4
- Apple Mail 3.4
- Apple Address Book 4.1.1
Mail Stamps 1.1
Mail Stamps brings an innovative program which includes a new and controversial interface. more>>
Mail Stamps 1.1 brings an innovative program which includes a new and controversial interface. Mail's new button-styled toolbar items are too small, hard to distinguish, and plain uglier than their predecessors. Mail Stamps applies full-size Panther-style toolbar items to Tiger's Mail. Mail Stamps simply replaces Mail's toolbar images with those from Mac OS 10.3 (Panther). After applying Mail Stamps, toolbar items become larger, more detailed, and better looking.
Requirements: Mac OS X
Massive Mail 0.7
An AppleScript application that allows you to generate personalized emails messages for any group in Address Book using Mail more>>
With Massive Mail, you can attach files, folders and if you want, you can compress the attachments before add them to the messages.
Massive Mail allows you to use a delay between messages, por example you can set a delay of 60 seconds each 15 messages. You can configure this options in the Preferences.
Massive Mail uses tags to generate customized messages and you can personalize these tags in the window Preferences, but keep in mind that any text in the message will be replaced by the contact information that that tag represents.
Massive mail does not use the distribution list of Address Book, because email labels are more usefuls and dynamics. You can choose the group, the email label and the contacts that will be including at the time of generating the messages by giving click in the item Adressees of the toolbar.

- Put back the old "new recipient" address parsing code
- Fixed bug where renaming a folder would update its displayed name but not its "full" name which would cause problems if you tried to open the folder before refreshing the folder list
- Fixed bug in 68K version where the sizes of all messages in a folder window said 0K
- Fixed bug in 68K version where Mail Drop would constantly check for new messages and flood the server with NOOPs
