gbsplay emulates the sound hardware of the Nintendo Gameboy. It is able to play the sounds from a Gameboy module dump (.GBS format) over /dev/dsp and NAS.
Included is an XMMS input plugin, a tool to display information about a .GBS file, and a demo song.
gbsplay is written in C and runs on a variety of platforms: Mac OS X, Linux, FreeBSD, and Cygwin have been reported to work so far.

- MIDI Hardware: Access to MIDI hardware is gained over the Mac OS X standard known as "Core MIDI". This means that OMS, MidiManager and MidiShare is no longer needed. Infiltrator is a creative sound-shaping tool for use in the studio and on stage, essentially based around two banks of powerful filters. It was principally designed as a powerful vocoder, but has evolved into something much more and is capable of working as a wide range of filtering FX and tools.
