Dock Detox is a haxie that will remove application icon bouncing in the Dock. You can turn off the application launch bounces, but not when a particular application is requesting your attention.
Dock Detox detoxicates the Dock from this excessive bouncing. Additionally, it includes a development kit for third-party developers to intercept the Dock icon bounce requests and display visual feedback in their applications.
