Free divx subtitles software for mac

D-Subtitler is a little software which can extract subtitles from DVD files and save it in SRT file.
SRT is a standart format which is usable by the majority of the divx players.
D-Subtitler can process two types of source : VOB files and VIDEO_TS folder.
Main features:
- With D-Subtitler you can extract subtiles with an easy to use GUI. No need to use the terminal or other complex tools...

- convert subtitles picture in text with an OCR system
- display unknown caracter and their context
- a little integrated editor allows you to check spelling.

SubtitleEditor is a program for editing subtitles. You may change the start or end time of a subtitle. Also, its possible to shift one or more subtitles, that is, add or subtract time to both start and end time.
You dont have to worry about overlapping subtitles etc. when changing times, SubtitleEditor will do that for you.
Currently, SubtitleEditor only supports SRT-Files.
Enhancements:
Preferences Panel
- SubtitleEditor now has a preferences panel. You can choose a standard text encoding to save and open files with, set some startup behaviour, and choose the directory the open and save panel start with.
Multiple Text-Encodings
- Until now, SubtitleEditor could only read files in the UTF-8 text-encoding, which could cause some trouble. For example, if you had a file saved in a western encoding, you were likely to see nothing. Now, you can set a standard encoding in the preferences or change the encoding while the subtitle file is displayed.
Making you own subitle files
- I finally added support for adding and deleting subtitles (but I havnt implemented backup-support, so be careful with deleting)
Text Editing Mode
- If you really want to (it might come in handy, you never know!), you can now change to a text editing mode, where you see the subtitle file as a normal text file.
