PicSecret 1 is a useful tool designed with the ability to hide secret messages in pictures by subtly altering the image in ways that are not detectable to the human eye. After a message has been embedded in an image, the image can be placed on a Web page, emailed to friends, or potentially even printed and hand-delivered in order to send the secret message. Since the secret message is hidden in the picture itself, and not simply tacked onto the image file's data, the secret message will not be destroyed by format conversion or by some modifications to the image. iCalTimeZoneFixer 0.9 comes as a versatile tool so that Apple's iCal can be protected from changing the start and end times of calendar events when your Mac's system time zone changes.

If you're an iCal user and you travel, you may have noticed that whenever you change your Mac's time zone iCal moves all of your appointments by the difference in hours between the old time zone and the new one. This makes it very difficult to manage calendars with appointments in different time zones, such as meetings on a business trip. iCalTimeZoneFixer addresses this problem by forcing iCal to keep all dates in the current system time zone. Since there's no difference between the calendars' time zone and the system's, iCal leaves the times alone.

Just like Google scrapes the web indexing everything, spambots are computers that search the net for email adresses so the evildoers can spam you. Pretty uncool, huh?
You can protect yourself against these malicious bots - for example, by encoding your email address every time you put it somewhere on your web site.
