Delete Files Now 1.2 is designed as a smart and useful plug-in for the Contextual Menu Manager in Mac OS 8. When you control-click on any file or selection of files in the Finder, either a Delete File Now or Delete Selection Now menu item will appear in the contextual menu's pop-up box. Force Delete a single file or folder: Select a file or folder on your computer and click the icon in your dock or Finder toolbar. A dialog should pop up asking you if youre sure you want to delete the file or folder and giving you the Unix path. Read this message and make sure that it is the file or folder you wish to delete, especially in the column view where file/folder selections are sketchy. If you decide to go through with it a dialog will pop up asking you to enter you administrator password. Type it in and press OK. The file/folder will be deleted. It may take the Finder a moment to realize that it is gone but you didnt receive an error, it is.

Delete Extra Paras QX is a QuarkXPress AppleScript which deletes trailing returns in every text box in a document.

Does check to make sure not deleting any printable text and keeps return if line before has a rule on.

Delete Imported Duplicates X will quickly delete duplicate messages even from enormous folders such as the Inbox.

The situation typically arises especially when importing Entourage 2001 or Outlook Express messages into Entourage X after using them both simultaneously for a while.

To remove messages permanently from the server at the same time as you delete them from local folders, run Delete from Server X from your Empty Deleted Items schedule instead of the standard Delete Mail action.

This will also prevent them from downloading again, but will let you keep the rest of your messages on the server until youre ready to remove them in the usual way. It also deletes messages and folders from the Deleted Items folder (if you use one) of any and every IMAP account you may have.
