FMMenulet 1.0.3
FMMenulet constantly reflects the current state of the Debug Scripts check mark with an icon in the system menu-bar more>>
This turns out to be very inconvenient, since after modifying a script, you never know for sure whats happening when you perform it from within the Define Scripts for... dialog.
FMMenulet will provide a solution to this problem by constantly reflecting the current state of the Debug Scripts check mark with an icon in the system menu-bar. Moreover, clicking on this icon toggles the state of that check mark and thus switches Debug Scripts on and off.
These icons will be shown in the top right of the menu bar, depending on the state and version of the frontmost FileMaker Pro application:
No FileMaker Pro version is the frontmost application
FileMaker Pro is frontmost, Debug Scripts is Off
FileMaker Pro is frontmost, Debug Scripts is On
It reflects the current state of the Debug Scripts check mark with an icon in the system menu-bar. Moreover, clicking on this icon toggles the state of that check mark and thus switches Debug ScriptsDTV2Ser Trans MAC Gui 0.1

Spellbinder 1.0
Spellbinder - Handy A.S.S. app that makes running update_prebinding easier more>>
I have included some options in Spellbinder that I think are handy.
The first option is to save your administrator password to disk, since this is saved as plain text it is not recommended to be used for security reasons.
The second option is to run in debug mode. This runs through the entire process but doesnt actually prebind the files. This has the benefit of freeing the RAM that the usual prebinding does, without the hard disk wear and tear.
The final option is to quit Spellbinder when it is done, a self explanatory option.
Eiffel Studio 5.3

The most important property to keep in mind as you are discovering EiffelStudio is that it is neither just a "programming environment" nor just a "CASE tool" (Computer-Aided Software Engineering) for analysis and design. It encompasses both of these functions and many others. Most system builders today are used to a dichotomy between the high end and the low end:
- At the analysis and design levels, graphical tools help you clarify your thinking about the system, interacting with customers and end users, and devise high-level system architectures, usually in diagrammatic form.
- At the low end, programming tools help you edit, compile and debug your programs.
