Y-E data hexa media drive 1.0 is designed to provide you some enhancements to the firmware of the YD-8V14 to allow access to these new types of cards. Some recently sold Secure Digital cards (SD card) are not accessible using the YD-8V14.

MDM uses a neural network to learn correlations between notes and control changes in a MIDI file. After training MDM can augment a live MIDI stream, adding control changes based on notes received.

Briefly: use MDM by connecting a MIDI device, open preferences and set MIDI input and output ports. Open a MIDI file, create a new neural net and train. Now play notes on your MIDI device, MDM will automatically add control changes.

This is an early alpha release, buggy and incomplete. Please send feedback! Note that this alpha version only reads from the first track in a MIDI file, and only uses the first controller. Look at the included MIDI file in the working/midi folder for details.

The YE Data custom icon utility solves a simple annoyance with digital media card readers. Instead of getting generic "removable media" icons went inserting a media card, a hi-resolution icon that actually represents the media card inserted is displayed on the desktop and finder.

The custom icons make it much easier to find the right media card you want to access and it is also much more visualy pleasing. The driver will only work with card readers manufacturered by YE Data.

- Data Crows web server can now be started without showing the UI. The normal parameter
- webserver in combination with the new credentials parameter hides the splash screen
- and bypasses the login dialog. See the readme on how to apply these parameters.
- The item form has its own settings dialog. From here you can define tabs (such as
- the current information and technical information), assign fields to tabs and set
- the order of the fields. The general field settings has lost the ability to set
- the field order as this was only used by the item form.
- In the previous versions the uniqueness of an item was determined by checking the
- combination of the required fields. Now this behavior can be managed by marking fields
- as key fields. By default, none of the fields is marked as a key field.
- The file importer considered a fixed set of file types. The functionality has been
- expanded to allow the user to define additional file types.

Fast Data Transfer (FDT) is an Application for Efficient Data Transfers which is capable of reading and writing at disk speed over wide area networks (with standard TCP). It is written in Java, runs an all major platforms and it is easy to use.
FDT is based on an asynchronous, flexible multithreaded system and is using the capabilities of the Java NIO libraries.
FDT may be used to stream a large set of files across the network, so that a large dataset composed of thousands of files can be sent or received at full speed, without the network transfer restarting between files.
