Agax is an antivirus application. It scans your disks and files for viruses. It also contains Defender, which is an antivirus extension. Both of these use Additives to discover and (in the case of Agax) repair infected files. Additives are stored in the folder Additives in the same folder as Agax.
Enhancements:
- This version is only a maintenance update.
- The main changes are that the Defender Log is limited in size, and Agax works under System 7 on a 68000 Mac.
- There are also a number of cosmetic improvements to answer questions I am frequently asked. In particular, the message reporting files that cannot be opened is less alarming.
- No new antivirus features have been added.

SDLRoids is essentially an Asteroids clone, but with a few extra features, and some nice game physics. It is based of xhyperoid, which is a UNIX port of the 16-bit Windows game Hyperoid. Major changes from xhyperoid are that its using SDL for sound and graphics, has a couple of extra powerups and and that the shield behaves differently.
The game can either run in windowed mode or in fullscreen mode. You can (usually) switch between them during play by pressing Alt-Enter.
The play area (apart from the score/lives/etc. display) is square and centred, just like in the the original Hyperoid did. This might not might not change, bug for now that is how it works.
Supported operating systems now are Unix, Win32 and MacOS X. SDLRoids is also known to work on BeOS. An experimental version for PalmOS is also available.
Enhancements:
- hyperoid.c (BreakRoid): Fixed bug #412623. Caused by an astroid being destroyed twice.
- (FireShot): You can now have up to five guns. Gun #4 if facing backwards and gun #5 is firing in random directions.
- (DrawBonuses, DrawHunters, DrawSwarmers, DrawSpinners): Adjusted delays between spawning of these objects. The most important change is that the chance of the bonus and a spinner to occuring at the same time is smaller. Also increased the average time between spinner spawnings (they occurred way too often before).
- (DrawBonuses): Bonuses are now colored based on the type. The type now also changes randomly instead of sequentially, which means that its theoretically easier to get the good bonuses. See the manual for the color coding.

DiceX is a nice, freeware dice-roller for role-playing games. The main reason I programmed this was a lack of satisfaction from existing dice-rollers.
One can enter the quantity of dice, number of sides, and put in an optional bonus, and this program will roll the dice; theres also a memory feature where one can save/restore values for the number of dice, sides, bonus, and result.
DiceX features dropping functions, to drop either the lowest or the highest die, or even both, and a log text field, to show a detailed breakdown of each roll.
