MenuTimer 1.1.2 provides you with a fast and efficient timer for the menu bar which can be used as an alarm or a stopwatch. The alarm message is customizable and the time can be set using days, hours, minutes, seconds, and/or milliseconds. MenuTimer is efficient and does not take up much space when not in use. Plus, it's FREE!

Cycle color is a special effects plug that simply lets you cycle the red, green, and blue channels (i.e. it will take the red channel and put in green, green in blue, and blue in red. or it will take red and place it in blue, blue in green, and green in red). the net result will be a picture using strange colors.

You can use this free plugin to introduce strange colors into your clip.

area of effect :
define the area of the clip you want to be affected by the plug-in. all other parts of the clip remain untouched.

cycle:
this slider has three settings: cycle once (red>green>blue>red), twice (red>blue>green>red), or three times (red>red, green>green, blue>blue).

With SimpleTimer you can create timers and reminders for your daily chores. The user interface allows you to quickly set up a reminder (e.g. "remember to do laundry 45 minutes from now"), but its easy to enable more advanced scheduling operations. However, SimpleTimer does not aim to replace sophisticated utilities like cron.

- Quickly glance at the status of all your timers with a single Control-click on the dock icon. (Isnt it annoying when you have to bring an application window visible to the front just to see the status of one window?)
- Since you can save a timer as an independent file on your disk, you can create reminders for other people too: employees, friends, and others (provided they have SimpleTimer installed on their computers).
- Low CPU usage: SimpleTimer doesnt keep your CPU busy, and has a small memory footprint.
- Being a native Cocoa application, SimpleTimer blends nicely into the traditional "Aqua" user experience.

Kitchen Timer is a simple alarm timer applet written in AppleScript which notifies you with a dialog and a sound when the specified number of minutes has passed.

Launch it and enter how many minutes for alarm, then press "GO" button. You can use decimal fractional value. (0.5 for 30 seconds).

Completly freeware.

Talk Timer is a simple application in Squeak for use at conferences to help speakers keep track of how much time they have left.
The timer counts down the number of minutes reserved for the talk and turns red when only 5 minutes are left, when times up it also flashes.
I originally quickly hacked this together at the Camp Smalltalk event at the ESUG 2005 conference, where we installed it on a computer next to the speakers.
