MegAlign 7.0 is actually beneficial to offer you a choice of four pairwise and four multiple sequence alignment methods for aligning nucleic acid or polypeptide sequences. Enter your own sequences or load public data directly from NCBI*. If you want to find more related sequences for alignment, simply run a BLAST query or utilize the Entrez text query interface*, then drop in the sequences you want from the list of matches.

Easily customize views of alignments to highlight the similarities or differences of the sequences. Differences in chemical, structural or functional characteristics between sequences can also be displayed as well as your own groupings or consensi. You may create a subalignment from the current alignment by simply selecting a sub-region.

The MultiLedger 7.0 Patch has been encoded using BinHex 4.0 (.hqx). You will need a helper application to decode the Patch after it has been downloaded to your hard drive.
NOTE: You need at least version 7.0 of MultiLedger for Macintosh in order to run the patch.
The Patch will search your drive for your old version of MultiLedger 7.0. Once it is found, click Update. When the update is complete, click Quit. To verify that you have correctly updated, open MultiLedger as you normally would, then choose About MultiLedger from the Apple menu.

When on-camera talent performs, they read what they speak from a teleprompter. Traditionally, this task is performed by a dedicated computer with an application to edit and scroll the text at a user driven speed using a piece of hardware called a scroller.
The Video output of the scrolling text is reflected from a half silvered (pellix) mirror and the camera shoots through the other side of the mirror so that the talent is looking into the camera but reading the reflection of the text. This requires lots of software and hardware in order to achieve the same results as Prompt! and a laptop computer or computer monitor.
By placing the laptop computer between the talent and the camera the talent can read text from the top of the laptop screen and still appear to be looking at the camera if the camera is far enough back using a long lens.
Trial and effort is the key to getting a natural look to this process but the further the camera is from the subject, the better. If the talent will be controlling their own scrolling then mouse control is the best and if you have long mouse cord, thats even better. There is a built-in function to allow someone else to control the speed by using the keyboard or mouse. Use both if you like.
Prompt! also mirrors the text and displays at multiple resolutions.
