cvsc 1.0

cvsc - CVS commands into a graphical interface more>>
cvsc wraps the standard CVS commands into a graphical interface, in the hope that one would almost never need to use the CVS commands directly.

cvsc is a CVS graphical front-end for Mac OS X.

It presents a view of the file system in an outline view. The user then selects files and directories and then performs CVS commands on them.

TkCVS 8.0

TkCVS 8.0

TkCVS is a Tcl/Tk-based graphical interface to the CVS and Subversion configuration management systems more>>
TkCVS is a Tcl/Tk-based graphical interface to the CVS and Subversion configuration management systems. It will also help with RCS. The user interface is consistent across Unix/Linux, Windows, and MacOS X. TkDiff is included for browsing and merging your changes.
TkCVS shows the status of the files in the current working directory, and has tools for tagging, merging, importing, exporting, checking in/out, and other user operations.
TkCVS also aids in browsing the repository. For Subversion, the repository tree is browsed like an ordinary file tree. For CVS, the CVSROOT/modules file is read. TkCVS extends CVS with a method to produce a "user friendly" listing of modules. This requires special comments in the CVSROOT/modules file.
Although TkCVS now supports Subversion, it will still work happily without it in your CVS directories. It didnt abandon CVS, it just grew some new capabilities.
Enhancements:
- The Annotation browser optionally shows line numbers.
- Multiple branch-browser fixes for Subversion:
- Treat branchpoints as real revisions, so they have both a blue box and a black one in the diagram. Its rather inelegant, but it works with the way the branch browser was designed. Solves problem of branches not being drawn if they branch straignt from another branchpoint.
- Send URL paths instead of -r < file > arguments to the diff, svn-cat, and annotation commands because Subversion doesnt cross branch boundaries with simple revision arguments, and doesnt tell you that its not giving you the revision you asked for.
- Bugfix: relative URL path in Branch Browser is constructed correctly for path depths > 2
- The Branch Browser counts the tags when making a Subversion diagram and gives you a chance to skip the tag step if there are many, where "many" is defined by cvscfg(toomany_tags). Constructing the branch diagram for Subversion is extremely inefficient, and drawing the tags can take longer than its worth.
- For Subversion directories, the Module Browser shows the number of items within the folder instead of the "svn list -v" info string. That may help you decide whether to open the folder or not.
- The Branch Browser positions the diagram so "you are here" is in the visible canvas, fixing a long-time nagging irritation.

LinCVS 1.4.3-1

LinCVS is regarded as a simple to use, yet sophisticated Interface for the cvs client commandline tool on the Unix, Windows and Mac OS X platform. more>>

LinCVS 1.4.3-1 is regarded as a simple to use, yet sophisticated Interface for the cvs client commandline tool on the Unix, Windows and Mac OS X platform.

It allows ato load modules from a server (checkout), create modules on the server (import), as well as checking the state of directories and individual files or updating them. Basic operations like add, remove and commit are supported as matter of course, just like showing the actual differences between the server version and the local sandbox, graphical display of the version tree, and manifoldy graphical support of project maintenance. All actions are logged on the cvs server (configurable via history), and are therewith comprehensible.

To keep LinCVS independant of the cvs version, LinCVS uses the local but separately installed cvs and therefore always should work with the latest version.

CVSServerSetup.app 1.1

CVSServerSetup.app 1.1

CVSServerSetup.app is a tool for developers wanting to get a CVS repository up and running more>>
CVSServerSetup.app is a tool for developers wanting to get a CVS repository up and running on their machine without too much pain.
This application will setup a CVS repository on your machine, enable people to browse it via the web, allow developers to access it remotely (using ssh or cvs pserver), and announce the repositorys existence to the local network via Rendezvous. Also see the README.rtf included on the disk image, that will detail the changes in this latest release.
The included command-line tool, cvsDiscover, will find Rendezvous-enabled cvs pservers on the local network for you. More information is available in the ReadMe-cvsDiscover.rtf on the disk image.
Enhancements:
- adds better informational messages (ehm, there are some now, post-installation),
- _ssh._tcp. support for the Rendezvous delegate,
- and it defaults to providing CVS access via ssh, and *not* pserver. Which will make some people happy.

Toy Cars 0.2.3

Toy Cars 0.2.3

Toy Cars is a physics-based 2D racing game for Mac OS X more>>
Toy Cars is a physics-based 2D racing game for Mac OS X. The graphics and the interface use SDL and OpenGL.
Toy Cars is partly inspired by Micromachines and partly by the old Atari ST game called Jupiters Masterdrive.
Enhancements:
- Renamed configure.in to configure.ac and added a couple of .cvsignore files to better handle cvs updates.
- Renamed this file from changelog to ChangeLog.
- Removed the --enable-data-dir option again. Now properly installs data files into $(datadir)/$PACKAGE location. Can use command line option -datadir to specify an unusual location at runtime.
- Added an --enable-data-dir option to the configure script for setting the location of the data files. Not sure if this is the best solution to this problem.
- GNU Autotools implemented. Has been tested on the Linux machines at uni and works well.
- Changed format of this changelog file.

CrossVC 1.4.3-1

CrossVC 1.4.3-1

CrossVC - Graphical Interface for the cvs client commandline tool more>>
CrossVC is a graphical Interface for the cvs client commandline tool on the Unix, Windows and Mac OS X platform. It allows to load modules from a server (checkout), create modules on the server (import), as well as checking the state of directories and individual files or updating them.

To keep CrossVC independant of the cvs version, CrossVC uses the local but separat installed cvs and therewith always should work with the latest version.

Because CrossVC does not affect the cvs internal project maintenance, a concurrent use with cvs commandline is possible. The function of the CrossVC dir state display is not impaired therewith.

Even though CrossVC graphically supports almost the whole cvs range of functions (and is continuously under development;-), it is easy to customize the GUI to the individual needs. Popup menues are freely configurable, while the menues always provide full feature access. An extra toolbar enables direct access to often used features.
