Crossword Puzzle Helper was developed to find words with a certain length when you do not know all the letters. Type in the search word using "?" for each unknown letter and press the "Start" button. All words meeting the search criteria will be displayed in the table. To search for another word, simply enter a new search word and click on the "Start" button. The table will be cleared and the new results will be displayed.

The default word set has over forty-eight thousand words. You may use the Maintenance window to add new words or delete words in your word set. The first time you launch the utility, the default word set will be loaded and saved. When you next launch the utility, your word set (with changes) will be loaded and when you quit, the current word set will be saved. You may also revert to the default word set by clicking on the "Use Default Word Set" button.

Never A Cross Word is a simple crossword helper. You enter all the cross-clues you know for a particular word, and it tells you a list of possibilities for that word. The syntax is a period (.) for every unknown, and the letter for the knowns, so for instance ex...ple could be example or exciple.

For those of you who are thinking Well this is just a less powerful version of grep youre right! It is exactly that. In my defence, for a non-UNIX crowd the terminal may be daunting. Also, the fact that the list updates on the fly is, in my opinion, added value.

Enhancements:
- Dragging the output into Path Finder works now.
- The new background color is now user-configurable (was previously hard-coded to an ugly shade of yellow).

- Remaining issues: Sprite Maker will not automatically detect where the sprite starts in both images; they need to start at exactly the same pixel location. That is, each needs to be cropped exactly the same, to the pixel.
