CPUTest - stress test a CPU and its cooling system more>>
This command can be used to stress test a CPU and its cooling system.
CPUTest may be used to verify stability when undervolting and overclocking CPUs.
CPUTest is a useful and freeware tool.
The CPUTest app includes a compiled executable of Glucas 2.9.0.
Information about the Glucas project can be found in the "glucas-2.9.0_documents" directory.
The source code is removed to keep the size down.
Select test type, number of test repetitions and number of Glucas instances.
You should run at least as many instances as you have CPU cores.
You can replace the Glucas executable inside the CPUTest.app directory with any Glucas build of choice, as long as the selftest command is the same.

CPU Usage 0.5
CPU Usage brings a flexible, and dynamic application which shows the current CPU usage in a floating rectangular meter, or in your Dock icon, or both. more>>
CPU Usage 0.5 brings a flexible, and dynamic application which shows the current CPU usage in a floating rectangular meter, or in your Dock icon, or both. This information is useful for determining how hard your computer is being worked. Your computer may behave slowly or run hot when the processor is being worked hard.
The text is completely transparent, and the opacity of the meter's background is directly tied to the CPU usage (for example, the backdrop of the meter in the screenshot is 63% opaque). Also, if you have more than one processor, the meter will have multiple cells, and in each one, the CPU number will be shown below the percentage.

CPU Director 2.3b6
CPU Director allows you to view and configure the cache and processor clock speed settings on your PowerLogix upgrade card more>> CPU Director allows you to view and configure the cache and processor clock speed settings on your PowerLogix upgrade card. The included utilities allow you to enable or disable the cache "on the fly", change the speed at which your backside cache operates and automatically enable the cache at this speed at boot time.
If your upgrade uses an IBM 750FX processor, you can also change the processor clock speed "on the fly" as well as the speed at which to set the processor when rebooting. There are also options to disable speculative access (a problem with OldWorld machines that originally did not ship with a G3 or G4 processor) and enable dynamic power management. Finally, if your upgrade uses multiple-processors, and you are running Mac OS X, you can view and change these settings on a per-processor basis.
Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
Version 2.3b6 is released, bringing support for Mac OS X 10.4.9
