CPU-Center is a free Yahoo! widget that shows many informations regarding your computer:
- The three most active processes
- CPU-usage
- Load Averages
- Uptime
- Battery state
- Airport signal strength
The processes and CPU usage turn red from green in a gradient corresponding to the usage.
Load averages, uptime, battery info, and Airport info can be disabled and enabled in Preferences.
Besides there is a red kill-button near each of the processes. Very clever!

The text is completely transparent, and the opacity of the meter's background is directly tied to the CPU usage (for example, the backdrop of the meter in the screenshot is 63% opaque). Also, if you have more than one processor, the meter will have multiple cells, and in each one, the CPU number will be shown below the percentage.
