I wrote this for a specifc purpose*, but hopefully the ideas can be used to suit similar needs. I was helped along by scripts posted here by Dan Decker and Robert Metzker, so I thought Id share the results.
*My particular need was to duplicate the folder structure of my iTunes Music Library into a spot where it would get backed up, but not copy the music files themselves. What I wanted to back up were the image files I had found/created, and in the process remove them from the library, since they didnt seem to "belong" there.

A copy of the original file will be repaired, and the prefix "Fixed" will be added to the name of the repaired file. The repaired file will be saved in the same folder as the original damaged file. There is a bug in the "Move To..." action that occasionally flashes an error message, but it doesnt seem to affect performance and the message disappears as quickly as it comes. I dont know what the problem is and, as long as the action works like its supposed to, I dont much care.
Use in "Finder Plugin" mode install by double-clicking the included applescript.
