Close and Delete is a small AppleScript for BBEdit which closes the frontmost document and moves it to the trash without a warning.

BBEdit has a great feature called Close & Delete, which is available when you hold down Shift and view the File menu. In BBEdit 7.0 and later, the utility of this time-saving feature is greatly diminished because BBEdit asks if you’re sure that you want to delete the file.

This script restores the old behavior of the command. If you delete the file by accident, you can always recover it from the trash can.

Fast Delete 1.0 is created as an AppleScript with the ability to automatically move a file to the trash and delete it. Apply Fast Delete to a function key, and choose your trash! It's much quicker than selecting what you want to delete, then typing command-delete, waiting for it to move to the trash, and then typing command-shift-delete. It's so lengthy compared to the automation that Fast Delete gives you.

As powerful as Microsoft Entourage is, you would think that something as simple as the Delete Key would be a no-brainer. Think again!

For this, the developers have decided that just hitting Delete is far too obvious. If you want to get rid of a task, for example, you have to first select the task and hit Cmd-Delete. This brings up a Warning Dialog, which then lectures you on all the dangers of ‘deleting’!

uControl is a keyboard remapper and more. Meaning, those useless keys can now be reused, remapped, or reduced.
uControl gives you the ability to take those useless keys, that youre certain would have been better fashioned as something else, and turn them into something useful.
It started out as a simple hack to remap the caps lock key to a control key but has since evolved into a fairly sophisticated means of not only remapping modifier keys, but gives your trackpad a virtual scroll wheel, or gives lefties a sensible mouse, or gives people with disabilities the ability to type with one hand. Note: the one-handed typing ability has been removed due to possible patent infringement.

- You can choose what keyboard you want a modifier mapping applied to. This is especially useful for external keyboards made for windows boxes that have the Option and Command key swapped (or alt and Windows keys in PC-speak).

- Gives your track pad, or mouse, a virtual scroll wheel. Hold down the key(s) of your choice, and your track pad instantly becomes a scroll wheel not just for vertical scroll bars, but horizontal ones as well. Use it once and youre hooked. Generously contributed by Alex Harper.
- Real Function Keys since version 1.0.7
- Removes the need to hold down the fn key to access the function keys (useful on laptops). The implementation of this feature was completely redone by Alex Harper in 1.3.5, and it works much, much better than before. It now uses the same method that OS 9 used. Also, many thanks to the Linux PPC folks, Jimi X and Matthias Grim, who discovered how to do the actual ADB muckery that was required.

The iMic Control utility provides additional features and control for the iMic USB audio adapter.

The software is free for iMic users. Currently the iMic control supports output treble, bass, volume, balance, and mute as well as input gain. Some functions such as audio input gain require that you hot plug the iMic before the new settings take effect.

FOLD Control is a REALbasic application which allows you to control the Darwin (Unix) version of Folding@Home. The included file "FOLD Control desc" gives detailed instructions for obtaining and setting up the Folding@Home application so that FOLD Control can do its job.
