Bluetooth Remote Control 4.0.1 provides you a wonderful communication tool which lets the Human Interface Device (HID) Profile, a mobile phone can act as a HID device. When connected to a computer, the mobile phone acts like a combined keyboard and mouse. By assigning a combination of computer keyboard key presses to keys on the mobile phone keypad, the mobile phone can be used as a remote control device for computer applications.
The mobile phone keypad is configured for control of a computer application through a HID configuration file. This is a TAR file containing two other files: one XML file for the keypad key assignments and one image file containing the image to be shown on the phone screen. The image can, for example, display what functions are assigned to each key on the mobile phone keypad.
HID configuration files can be downloaded to the mobile phone using standard file transfer mechanisms. Users can modify configuration files using a computer. A few configuration files are pre-loaded in the mobile phone, for example, configurations that allow the user to navigate on a computer desktop or control presentations and media players.

Version 1.1 adds vast improvements made. Removed the icon due to legal reasons, and fixed the About dialog box to display the correct information. I also made the controller much, much smaller, nearly 1/4th the size it was before. So it wont clutter your screen space with useless buttons, i set aside the special features button in another window that can be accessed through a click of the "More" button, to save screen space. Everything is still there, but better. 1.0 [01/29/02] : Final! Release version! This is the final build, included 3 more features including Random MP3 and Stream MP3. Fixed interface to be more compact and organized. Added an OS X optimized icon. Took no more than 2 hours to do the update. Tested 1.0b extensively, and 1.0 too, virtually no bugs. 1.0b [01/29/02] : The first initial release, still undergoing some testing necessary for full release. Not intended as a full release. Since this is a beta, im not expecting everything to work on it. Still a plain app, future versions will include a Mac OS X optimized icon, and about screen, including support for more features.

How do I use it?
Id like to say, first thing, that this application is not for the casual user. It makes editing Apaches configuration file easier, but you still need to know how the configuration file works. If you need help with the configuration file, refer to the Apache manual at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/.
How much will it cost me?
Nothing. Nada. Zilch. In other words, completely free. Im committed to keeping all of my applications free, both now and in the future.
Enhancements:
- Name has changed from Webserver Configuration to Web Control.
- New icon.
- Multiple selection is now available.
- Dragging or pasting any of the configuration directives into a text editor will show what they look like in the actual configuration file.
- Fixed a few issues with undo/redo support.
- Row height has been increased so that it is easier to read the directives/values without having to resize the window to ridiculous widths.
- Added an "Open Quickly" menu to the File menu. This will display all of the configuration files Web Control is able to find in the httpd config directory.
- Now able to open multiple configuration files, instead of only the httpd.conf file.
- Able to change the location of the httpd config directory. Previously, it was assumed to be at /etc/httpd with no way to change this. Same goes for the apachectl script.
- If the application is not authorized, editing of the configuration file is not allowed. Previously, this was allowed, even though saving of the file was not.
- Background colors and comment colors are now user settable in the preferences.
- Greatly enhanced the parsing engine. Web Control can really open any file with an extension of .conf now. (This is not, of course, encouraged.)
- Authorization button updated to look more like 10.3s authorization view.
- Many, many internal code improvements.
