Free connection reset by peer software for mac

The HP 33xx (specifically my 3330) software often loses the ability to connect to your printer/scanner, etc. Ive found that killing off and restarting the background communication process sometimes solves this. Rebooting the printer can help too.

Bundled are a python script to do this for you and an application that you can double click if you dont like to type at a command line.

To run from the terminal: You may need to chmod 755 hpcomm.py . Type pathtohpcomm.py/hpcomm.py (If you are thinking of using the terminal, I dont need to tell you this).

Remote Desktop Connection Client 2.0.1 has come with the ability to allow you to connect to a Windows-based computer and work with programs and files on that computer from your Macintosh computer.

To connect to a Windows-based computer, you need network access and permissions to connect to the computer, and the computer must be running Terminal Services or Remote Desktop Services. The following Windows products support Remote Desktop connections:

Quark 6 does not reflect Fonts installed after the Application has been installed, this is due to the "ttfont" file located in the Library Preferences.
The Quark 6 Font reset script simply deletes this file and allows Quark to rebuild it with the lates Font information available - hence reflecting all of the installed Fonts.

Switch AirPort Connection is an AppleScript that switches your AirPort network connection. It takes the last name of its own filename and uses that as the name of the wireless network to join.

Next it tries to look up the password for this network name in the Keychain, and finally it switches the connection.

SafariConnect is a simple AppleScript which activates the Internet connection via PPP (analog modem) and launches the Safari browser.

If the PPP connection is already open while SafariConnect is running, it will be terminated instead while leaving Safari alone.

The iPod shuffle Reset Utility restores First Generation iPod shuffle. The restore process will completely erase all music and data on iPod shuffle and reinstalls software version 1.1.5.

Note:
iPod shuffle Reset Utility is only for First Generation 512MB and 1GB iPod shuffle. Any other iPod, including Second Generation iPod shuffle is not supported. If you are not sure which iPod you have, see Apple Support document 61688: Identifying different iPod models

Use the iPod shuffle Reset Utility to fix the following issues:
With the iPod shuffle switched on, pressing the Play button will cause amber and green LEDs to flash for a few seconds, and the unit will not play any music, nor can you sync music to it from iTunes.

On a Windows PC, iPod shuffle will appear in My Computer as a Removable Disk, however the iPod shuffle volume will not mount correctly. The unit is listed in Device Manager under Disk Drives as Apple iPod USB Device.

On a Mac, the unit will only be recognized in Apple System Profiler under Hardware -> USB and will not appear or mount in the Finder.

When attempting to restore, the unit may not be recognized at all. However, if it is recognized, the restore may fail with an error dialog Firmware update failure. Disk write error or another error. It may take 3 restore attempts before the error appears. Note: iPod shuffle may take several minutes to be recognized.
