iCalCopier is a small AppleScript that copies iCal 2 .ics files to the pre-Tiger locations.
This may allow other scripts designed for pre-Tiger to continue to work. Note that you will lose any hierarchies you may have created in iCal 2.

Note that this script has a line to remove all calendars currently in ~/Library/Calendars, so that when you run this repeatedly, they neither stack up nor report a conflict or error. This line is commented out in the posted version for safety.

Note also that this script calls a perl script (iCalCopier.pl) to extract the calendar name from the Info.plist file.

If youre having problems on your system with text appearing "garbled" as in the image on my homepage (see the "More Information" link to the right), it could be caused by corrupt font cache files.

What appears to be happening is that incorrect or corrupted encoding vector information is being used when mapping the character codes as input by your keyboard to the glyphs they represent in the problematic font.

You can run Font Cache Cleaner to purge these cache files in an attempt to restore normal behavior. If you use Font Cache Cleaner but the problem remains, then it could be caused by a font conflict or by a corrupt font. Try removing fonts to isolate the problematic fonts that are causing this behavior.

iCalAid 1.0 is released to be a handy and comprehensive tool which makes easier the transfer of calendar events and tasks from non-scripted, non-supported applications.

iCal Helper can also serve as a front end for iCal with the ability to load information from IE windows, local files and web services to make Events and To Dos associated with them. iCalAid is formerly iCal Helper.

The name was changed to avoid any possibility of conflict with the iCal Helper that is part of the iCal installation. Although the application name is changed, the download file name is the same so that links won't be broken.

radmind - A suite of Unix command-line tools and a server designed to remotely administer the file systems of multiple Unix machines. For Mac OS X, theres also a graphical interface.
At its core, radmind operates as a tripwire. It is able to detect changes to any managed filesystem object, e.g. files, directories, links, etc. However, radmind goes further than just integrity checking: once a change is detected, radmind can optionally reverse the change.
Each managed machine may have its own loadset composed of multiple, layered overloads. This allows, for example, the operating system to be described separately from applications.
Enhancements:
- This release adds the Radmind Update Monitor, a small application that appears in the logged-in users menu bar. It communicates with a background tool that runs ktcheck -n periodically throughout the day. When updates are available, the icon flashes to notify the user.
- Radmind Transcript Editor 0.7.7 adds optional Wildcard searches, which can be enabled through the preferences. When enabled, the user may use "*" in the search field to act as a wildcard character, e.g.: .app will display all transcript lines ending with .app in the current transcript.
