Four In One Composition 1.0 is a product called an iVisualize Quartz Composition for iTunes. It cycles through different compositions including a page for song information and three different volume art effects.

The Automated Composing System generates Ethnic Music such as Okinawa music (Japan Traditional), Scotland music and Andes music, Gamelan music as well as Western pops and Classical Music.

Automated Composing System will also generate Game music that may be used for BGM of video games. Even though this program does not generate a good tune, you can get some idea for your composition.

With setting several parameters, you can make your own tune automatically. The generated MIDI files can be used for back ground music of home pages and original games. For example, you want to have slow music, select music box for music style and click compose button.

These are a few new patches I wrote for Quartz Composer.
MIDI Global In Note :: This patch observes a specified MIDI Note number on a specified MIDI Channel, and outputs the Velocity and a boolean Gate signal.
MIDI Global Out Note :: This patch, when Gate is rising true, outputs a MIDI note-on message on a specified MIDI Channel with the specified Velocity. When Gate is falling false, a MIDI note-off message is sent.
Image With Composition :: This patch loads a Quartz Composer Composition (.qtz) file and renders it to an Image. (This is intended to replace functionality that was removed with the Mac OS X 10.4.7 update.)
File Type :: This patch provides the Uniform Type Identifier (UTI) of the specified file. For example, if the path to a QuickTime movie is specified, File Type outputs "com.apple.quicktime-movie".
MIDI Global Output CC :: This patch, when triggered, outputs a MIDI Custom Controller message on a specified MIDI Channel to all MIDI outputs.
MIDI Global Input CC :: This patch observes a specified MIDI Custom Controller on a specified MIDI Channel, and outputs the Custom Controller Value and a Value-changed trigger. Unlike the "MIDI Controllers" patch that comes with Quartz Composer, this patch doesnt require the user to manually select the "Observed MIDI Sources" individually for every controller/computer combination - so youre free to take your composition to a different machine and/or controller and jam without needing to hack the composition.
String With File :: This patch reads a file into a string.
String With URL :: This patch retrieves a URL into a string.
Document Info :: This patch returns some information about the zeroth Cocoa NSDocument.
Enhancements:
- Added four new patches: MIDI Note Input/Output, Image With Composition, File Type.

Still in progress, BassThing will provide the pop and jazz improvisor with that play along practice that is so ubiquituos; it differs from other software-based playalongs in that the user clicks on a staff to place the roots of choice.

The random create part puts the app in the algoithmoc composition categorie as well.

Jumping iSight Balls is a iTunes Quartz Composition that shows the spectrum as jumping balls that show the album art and iSight image, if an iSight is available.

Additionally you get the most common song information: title, artist, album, year and gendre.

Distillation Designer v1.0.4 brings users a simple McCabe-Thiele method for designing binary distillation systems. It will be of use to students studying Chemical Engineering and is currently being offered as 'donation ware'.
