Quickly open any Apple application...

A slick little utility that allows you to access any Apple application, by simply typing its name (no spaces) in the search field. Soon, this widget will include auto-completion of typing, as well as support for opening third-party applications and customizing where it looks for applications.

FoldingObserver 1.7 is an intuitive tool with which you can monitor your Folding@Home clients within your network. You can keep track of lots of details of your clients.

JXplorer is a free and open source ldap browser that was originally developed by Computer Associates eTrust Directory development lab.

Main features:
Ldap operations: add/delete/copy/modify:
- A graphical tree view allows users to easily delete and copy entries. A table view (or an html form view, if provided) allows the user to edit attributes of an entry, including multi-values and binary attributes. JXplorer reads schema from ldap v3 directories and uses that schema to create a template for creation of new entries from scratch.
Complex operations: tree copy and tree delete:
- Many directories do not support the renaming of non-leaf entries, or the deletion of entire trees of entries. JXplorer supports both by reading and re-writing the tree behind the scenes.
Optional GUI based search filter construction:
- Constructing raw ldap search filters is beyond most users, so in addition to raw entry JXplorer provides a mathematically complete, yet easy to use, method of graphically building these search filters.
SSL and SASL authentication:
- Full support for SSL and SASL authentication is provided via a custom java SSL socket factory. Graphical tools are provided to browse the certificate keystores and view certificates.
HTML templates/forms for data display:
- Users may provide their own html template pages to display their data, using a simple extension to html (the addition of an attribute tag). In addition, html forms can be provided to modify entries using the same technique. The same html page can combine both editable and read only data.
Table view of generic entry data:
- If html templates are not available, or when viewing arbitrary data, a generic table view of entries is provided.
Binary Data Attribute Handling:
- A wide range of binary data (audio files, images, certificates etc.) are handled by both the table and html entry editors, and more can be added by the user through writing code plugins. On windows, many data types can be handed off to the default handlers, and this works to some extent on unix variants as well.
Pluggable editors/viewers:
- Users can write their own entry handling plug-ins to work along side, or take the place of, the html and table entry editors.
- These plugins are triggered on the particular object class (or parent object class) of the entry being viewed. Using this technique entire applications for directory administration and handling can be (and have been!) written.
Security Keystore GUI:
- A graphical interface to the java keystore has been written, and has been tested with a number of keystore formats. This allows users less familiar with certificate based security to work with certificates in a manner similar to that supported in modern web browsers.

gnoMint is an X.509 Certification Authority management tool. gnoMint allows any person to run a Certification Authority, creating certificates for any purpose: e-mail signing and/or crypting; TLS authentication through web, VPNs or other protocols; secured web-servers...
Its development was started due to the lack of a just-works CA software: creating a CA from zero, through open-source command-line utilities, was possible, but was unconfortable to remember all the neccessary parameters.
And you had to create a difficult configuration file. So here it is gnoMint, and it will help all network and systems administrators to deploy a Certification Authority very easily.

Main features:
- Creating all the infrastructure to keep and run a Certification Authority, saved in only one file.
- Create Certification Signing Requests, allowing to export them to PKCS#8 files, so they can be send to other CAs.
- Create X.509 certificates, with a usual set of subject-parameters.
- Export certificates and private keys to PEM files, so they can be used by external applications.
- For each CA, establish a set of policies for certificate generation.
- Import CSRs made by other applications
- Export PKCS#12 structures, so the certificates can be imported easily by web and mail clients.
- Revoke certificates, and generate the corresponding CRLs
- Allow the possibility of keeping the CA private key, or other private keys, in external files or devices (as USB drives)
- Allow the management of a whole hierarchy of CAs, with their respectives certificates.
- Import pre-existing Certification Authorities, with all their data.
- Allow an easy CA operation from command-line tools, for batch certificate creation, or integration with other utilities.

- While creating a new certificate, the program now checks if new cert expiration date is after the CA expiration date. In that case, the program shows an info message and set the new cert expiration date to the CA expiration date.

SeasonPassGetter 0.14 is a must- have tool which takes TiVo content and transfers it to iTunes. Its main purpose is to transfer regularly scheduled recordings (Season Pass on TiVo) for viewing on AppleTV and iPod. Will not work with Series 1, Series 3, or DirecTiVos. With iPodCharger you can plug your iPod in your computers USB port, set the time till charging is complete (Apple recommends up to about four hours), decide if your computer should go to sleep or shut down after completion and than you can walk away and the script will do the rest.
As the script also ejects your iPod you can simply remove your shuffle anytime you wish, before or after completion of the run.
