A complete, ready-to-rumble platform is ready for you to download, for which the only requirement is Java 5. It includes plenty of example code, a scalable HTTP server, and robust logging facilities.
For Java developers, Restoration is also available as a standalone library, which you can embed in your application.
Main features:
- In addition to making it very easy to create REST resources (see demos), Restoration allows embedding scriptlets within HTML pages, similarly to PHP, JSP and ASP (see demos), with support for high-performance streaming and caching of results.
- You can see your changes happen on-the-fly without any compilation: Restoration picks up your edits and makes sure to update its cached code base. Development is quick, powerful and fun!

It compiles the script live, as you type - no need to explicitly compile the script (though can do that too, by pressing the enter key). It also shows errors in a status bar, silently (it would be a real pain to have live compilation but show errors in alert dialogs).
It cant save scripts yet. You can load existing scripts, or type your own, but you cant save them yet. This is very much an early work-in-progress application.

Using the 4/128 rule might not be the best choice from a historic point of view. But as it was explained before, since there are no clear rules, and this one is the most scientifically accurate and universal for our times, not depending on the equinox in Paris, nor in Gregorian rules, I think the 4/128 rule is a good choice.
