Apple Store Locations for iPod 1.0 is a freeware consisting of Apple's Retail Store locations organized by States for convenient access. Contains, addresses, telephone numbers, hours of operation and basic driving directions. Always have this information handy on your travels, right on your iPod.

Location Station 1.0.1 is such an easy-to-use Internet Location utility designed to help users create Mac OS 8.5 Internet Location documents -- URL's, e-mail addresses, newsgroups and ftp sites.

You can drag and drop text from your Internet Browser right into Location Station's text window. Location Station will either prompt you to choose a location for new documents or automatically save documents into a pre-determined folder.

Locamatic is the tool you need if you ever wished that your Mac would update its location automatically on the basis of the wireless network that youre using.

Perhaps you use your Mac at work, accessing the internet though a proxy server, and at home where you have none. It isnt difficult to select a new location from the Location menu in the Apple menu, but why should you have to?

How to use it

Locamatic is based around one window. It’s a simple soul and it doesn’t need any more. Close the window and Locamatic quits.

Let’s take a quick tour of the screen. Your locations can be selected from the location drop down menu. You’ll need to have set up your locations beforehand for Locamatic to be useful. Locations are set up in the Network Preferences pane in the System Preferences application.

All your locations will appear here. The SSID’s of all the wireless networks that you’ve connected to are selectable from the Network Name combo box. Since it may be useful to enter the name of a network that you haven’t previously connected to, this box is editable.

The ‘Add’ button adds the contents of the Location and Network Name menu’s to the table.

Finder Bookmarks is an editor for Web Location Files, the browser-independent bookmarks that you can store anywhere on your Macintosh.
This application can edit locations and attach site icons to the Web Locations icon. It also adds a powerful new kind of location file, Dynamic Locations, for faster web searching and lookups.
