Cacidi Extreme BarCodes - Create barcodes directly in your InDesign document more>>
You can choose from all the most frequently used types of barcodes, including EAN-8, EAN-13, ISBN, ISSN, UPC-A, UPC-E, JAN-8, JAN-13, Bookland, Codabar, Code 11, Code 25, Code 39, Code 128, MSI/Plessey and PostNet.
The barcode that Extreme BarCodes creates is a live object allowing you to modify its size, rotate it or add standard attributes such as colors to the barcode. If you change the number on the barcode in the Extreme BarCodes palette, the barcode will re-create dynamically while naturally retaining all its attributes.
Extreme BarCodes not only offers you the easiest way to work with barcodes on the market. Extreme BarCodes even works in integration with Cacidi Extreme Suite
When creating a module with Extreme Suite, it detects whether your object is a barcode and during the catalog production utilises Extreme BarCodes to create your barcodes in a fully automated way!
In the Extreme BarCodes settings you are able to define standards for the appearance of your barcode. Select whether the barcode should be human readable (whether the barcode should contain text), whether the first and last digit should be placed outside the barcode area, whether the barcode should contain an extra barcode (with 2 or 5 digits), and which text and font you like to use.
Barcode Library 1.3

Code 128 EAN/UCC
To create a Code 128 EAN/UCC simply select the code from the list in either the "Single Barcode" or the "Batch Conversion" Pane. The code generator will create all necessary conversion characters to create the smallest possible outline. Use the "~" to encode non-printable characters, e.g. to encode a TAB, enter "~009".
Note: Code 128 and its variations (EAN/UCC/GS1 - they all mean the same) is ALWAYS used with a checksum. If the generated code does not scan, make sure that you checked the "Checksum" box.
Code 39 Extended
Code 39 Extended will be generated automatically after selecting Code 39 if the generator finds a cahacter that can only be used in Code 39 Extended, e.g. asmall caps. Use the "~" to encode non-printable characters, e.g. to encode a TAB, enter "~009".
Note: Make sure your barcode scanner will actually scan Code 39 Extended. This is not a given!
Enhancements:
- Support for Code 128 EAN/UCC and Code 39 Extended.
Version restrictions:
- The trial version of the software will place the word EVAL near the barcode. Nevertheless the code will scan just fine.

Concordion 1.3.1
Concordion is an open source and useful tool which is created for writing automated acceptance tests in Java more>> Concordion 1.3.1 is an open source and useful tool which is created for writing automated acceptance tests in Java
Benefits:
- Plain English specifications: Rather than forcing product owners to specify requirements in a specially structured language, Concordion lets you write them in plain English using paragraphs, tables and proper punctuation. This makes the specifications much more natural to read and write, and helps everyone to understand and agree about what a feature is supposed to do.
- Always bang up-to-date: Concordion specifications are active. Behind the scenes, they are linked to the system under test and therefore do not go out-of-date. If a change is made to the system's behaviour then the tests associated with the relevant specification will fail and let you know.
- Complex behaviours can be decomposed: Each question at the bottom of the specification links to another active specification and so on until you have either run out of questions or the answer is "Out of Scope". In this way, a complex behaviour can be broken down into small, focused and easily understood requirements.
Major Features:
- Powerful, yet simple to use: Concordion integrates directly with JUnit.
- Highly readable tests: Concordion acceptance tests are so readable they can double up as system documentation. And, since the tests are linked to the system, you know the documentation is always up-to-date.
- Separates tests from implementation: Tests that include a lot of implementation detail lock you into that implementation. Concordion helps you to document the logic and behavior of your system in a way that does not lock you in.
Requirements: Java 1.5 or later
