Personality Services allows you to automatically turn words, sentences, phrases etc. into those of a different persona. Currently contains the following personalities:

• Jive
• Swedish Chef
• Texan
• Valley Girl
• Young (leet speak).

This program is based on the personality package for tik, an open source AIM client by AOL written in tcl. The personality packages contained within are compiled from the lex code contained therein.

System Services provide functionality regardless of what applications youre using. Once installed, they are accessed from the Services submenu in the application menu (the one to the right of the Apple menu), and often act on the selected text in the frontmost application.

Objective-C Services provides services to convert multiple Objective-C instance variable declarations to accessor method prototypes and implementations.

I just recently started coding for the iPhone this weekend. I decided to make an application that would allow for easy access to the different running services for the phone such as Wifi, Bluetooth, EDGE, Calling, and SSH. Hence my first contribution, Services.app.
So far, Services only supports turning on/off Bluetooth, Edge, Wifi and OpenSSH.

Requirements:

Enhancements:

Script allows the choosing of which calendar for adding the diary entry. • New script iCal Quick Todo - Available for making a quick to do for today or tomorrow. Allows the choosing of a calendar and setting a priority.
• New Script Multimedia Calendar in Quicktime - Run this script to create a Quicktime movie that reads and shows your calendar for that day. For best results, have Quicktime player already launched. A delay between running the script and the activation of the movie is normal as information is gathered from iCal, sound files are written to the temporary items folder and the movie file is created.
• Improved iCal Bible Quote - Now includes hundreds more verses with expanded selection.
• Improved Put Current iTunes Track in iCal - Better handling of iTunes state.

With over four hundred (400) easily accessible web services in the grab bag and several thousand more on the way it becomes vital to have a way to know what is what and where the forest is for the trees.

Some people might already understand that Wunderground is a global weather service, but staring at the URL if you dont know wont help much. Just understanding how the search engines of a single website work has become a minor science.

The ACP Service Browser puts them all in easy to use and easy to read searchable windows. Every service is usable as is or can be inserted on your Services menu if you really like it and want to keep it around.

CalendarCreator.service is a service for Mac OS X. Install by double clicking the disk image (the .dmg file you download) and dragging the CalendarCreator.service file on the newly mounted drive to ~/Library/Services/ or /Library/Services/. Once you log out and log back in you will be able to add any selected text as an event in iCal in a new calendar called "CalendarCreator". You can read the ReadMe if you really want to to find out just how it all works and for further help installing the service.
Enhancements:
- a new service has been added, Add To Do, in which you can add To Dos to your iCal instead of just events.
- You can also set a new preference, albeit obscurely (sorry, well do something about that some day).

The AOL Service Assistant enables you to set up the following Apple applications to work with the AOL service:
• Mail - The AOL Service Assistant makes it easy to configure Mac OS X Mail to send and receive AOL mail. If youve used the existing AOL for Mac OS X product, you can also import your incoming and outgoing messages from your Personal Filing Cabinet into Mail.
• iChat - You can now easily set up iChat to work with your Screen Name.
• Address Book - Using the AOL Service Assistant, you can now easily import your AOL Address Book contacts into your Mac OS X Address Book without bringing in duplicate entries.
• Safari - AOL Service Assistant enables you to import your Favorite Places into a folder in the Safari Bookmarks Bar.
