Global Finders Clean Up is an user configurable AppleScript utility which aids in keeping your desktop and Finder windows in order.

Global Finders Clean Up is completly freeware for personal use.

The CleanThemUp script, which is compatible with non-English (localized) operating systems, offers a simple way to maintain the following folders: BBEdit Lite Recents, Eudora Cache, Eudora Parts, Explorer Download Cache, Explorer Temporary Items, MRJ Cache, NetFinder Directory Cache, Navigation Services, Temporary Items and TechTool Pros invisible Trash Cache folder.
Enhancements:
- Speed improvement while deleting files, especially for TechTools Trash Cache.
- With the Empty Trash option checked, CleanThemUp also performs the fast deletion method for the other files.
- The new deletion method is approximately 4 times faster.
- Warning: This version is not guaranteed to be compatible with Mac OS 9.0.x or lower and/or with AppleScript 1.3.7 or lower.

Clean Shutdown (CS) is an AppleScript which moves user specified files and folders to the trash, empties the trash and shutdown the Mac. Why would one want such a script?
A common problem in web browsing is that the browsers disk cache gets too large which can result in slow browsing and a huge waste in hard disk space. Furthermore, cookies, which might contain personal information, can reveal their contents to anyone. Temporary files/folders which should be deleted on a regular basis. Ridding MacOS 8.x of the ObjectSupportLib extension or even avoiding the known variants of the AutoStart worm. These are examples of what CS was written to automate.
Enhancements:
- Version 1.1 does exactly the same thing as the original v1.0, except for support for international and more robust folder handling. (thanks to Alain P. Tytgadt).

This droplet will very quickly clean up Windows shares mounted through the Mac OS X samba client, by removing all "._*" files, .DS_Store files and .Trashes folders on all the volumes and folders dragged on it.

Clean Caches 3.2 is an easy-to-use, powerful and perfect shell and desktop program. Cleans out ~/Library/Caches, /System/Library/Caches, and /Library/Caches Great for use with ARD/NetBoot! ***THERE IS NO APPLICATION!*** (the installer IS the program!) When the package is "installed", scripts run in the background and empty out the folders previously mentioned. To "Clean Caches" again, run the installer again.

NoDesktopCleanup is a cool control panel that lets you add a confirmation dialog or a KeyQuencer Macro to any menu item in any application.

The unusual name comes from the original task I wrote this control panel for: disabling the annoying “Clean Up Desktop” and “Clean Up All” menu items in the Finder, which often make one’s life miserable by moving all the icons on the desktop away from their carefully chosen locations.

You can run KeyQuencer Macros whenever a menu item is selected, either as an addition to the original command or as a custom replacement.

NoDesktopCleanup also provides a useful auto-confirm timer which prevents your Mac from hanging forever when it’s working alone and there’s no user to press the “OK” or “Cancel” buttons.

WinFSCleanser deletes those pesky ._ resource fork files found on some filesystems the user defines. Can delete .DS_Store files too.
Caution: removes colored labels and custom icons (and probably more).
Current list of file types that can lose this resource fork are listed as defaults.
