Clean Caches 3.2 is an easy-to-use, powerful and perfect shell and desktop program. Cleans out ~/Library/Caches, /System/Library/Caches, and /Library/Caches Great for use with ARD/NetBoot! ***THERE IS NO APPLICATION!*** (the installer IS the program!) When the package is "installed", scripts run in the background and empty out the folders previously mentioned. To "Clean Caches" again, run the installer again.

The folders search is done recursively.
If some folder becomes empty with no items in it, then it is also removed. On searching folders, the script also changes the viewby method of each folder to "View by Name".

Thats it....its just in a package to make life easier.

- Reduced dependency on executing commands as root, due to the fact that root authentication is required anyways

This Automator action creates a clean zip format archive (.zip) thats ready to share with others. Macintosh resource forks and desktop files will be ignored so they dont get in the way on other operating systems.
If youre uploading the file online, use the action "Make Names Web-Friendly" afterward to ensure the archive has a web-friendly file name. Works great as a Finder plugin, so you can access it with a single click!
Create Clean Archive is a small Automator action that will be of much use to you.
Enhancements
- Added an option to save files in the same folder as the originals.
- Added an option to delete the original files after archiving.
- Added an option to exlude all files and folders that start with a period (for example, .htaccess files).
- Now shows up in the Files/Folders section of Automator in Leopard.

Any mailboxes listed in the Exclude property are not checked, and this may be confirmed because the windows of unchecked mailboxes are not closed by the script. This allows the user to easily move any desired messages to the backup folder manually. I exclude "In" because the vast majority of my mail gets filtered, and "In" usually contains on-going conversations with people or messages I want to keep available.
