Intellivision for Mac: Volume 1 2.1.3 brings you a convenient and useful gaming utility. Intellivision for Mac: Volume 1 offers the original game code of Astrosmash, Skiing, and Utopia, running on software emulating the Intellivision hardware. Unlike some complex emulators, you can easily download the small file, unstuff it, and immediately blast to the past. To refresh your memory, Astrosmash is sort of like an Asteroids/Space Invaders fusion wherein your ship--on the bottom of the screen--faces oncoming meteors and aliens, Skiing is one of the classic Sports Network titles that established the reputation of Intellivision, and Utopia is considered by many computer game aficionados to be the granddaddy of all sim games.

Adaptec UDF Volume Access is a little extension for your System Folder (more precisely, a File System extension) to enable Macs with System 7.5.5 up to Mac OS 9.2.2 to read CDs formatted in UDF (on Windows: "CDUDF") format.

Apple provides its own UDF extension, but that is limited to certain flavours, while Adaptecs extension supports more of these flavours (it supports the specs 1.02 and 1.5, but not the newer version 2 specs).

So, if you frequently use burnt CDs make on PCs (Windows), installing this extension might make it easier to access a few of those CDs. Another extension that helps with reading Windows CDs it Joliet Volume Access, BTW.

Volume Info 1.2 comes as a small utility for your menu bar. If you click on the VolumeInfo icon, a menu will pop up which will contain a list of your mounted Volumes and Disks.

Each of the Volumes listened there have got a submenu which contains informations about the disk space and its usage. You also are able to show the volume in the Finder or get a little overview over its content.

AliasInfoCM is a simple context menu plugin.

It shows the original volume of an alias file in the context menu.

Installation: Drop the plugin file into the "Contextual Menu Items" folder inside the library folder in your user folder. Relaunch the Finder (e.g. by logout and login).

iCalMail 1.5 is an advanced product specifically designed to create a calendar that lets you automatically email people at certain times. The following shows what becomes what in an e-mail:

• event name -> subject
• location -> attachment
• attendees -> recipients
• notes field -> message text
• url field -> sender email

It is not necessary to click the "Send" button. Doing so will execute iCal's normal invitation system. You can close the event pane by clicking outside of it or pressing "esc".
Please note that because of a workaround I had to use for Leopard, you may receive the email being sent as well.

For best results:

• Set the alarm to open the "iCalMail" app "0 minutes before".
• Schedule events at least 5 minutes apart.

Attachments should be stated in the form "/Volumes/Volume Name/Folder Name/File Name" (without quotes).
