Chimoo Timer is a nice tool, a countdown/up timer featuring speech recognition and text-to-speech support.

The Timer 1.7 is created as an advanced and sophisticated system utility. The small 'time switch clock' can open, programs start now apart from the usual memory dialogue after entered time also files, which Mac shift into the retirement, switches off and since this version to start again. TheTimer is a small bell, which reminds one after an entered number of minutes, a file or a program opens, which Mac switches off or starts again transferred into the state of rest. Ideally e.g. in order not to forget TV series, Pizza, and so on.

Active Timer keeps track of the amount of time you spend in each application. This is perfect for automating the process of keeping track of time spent on a a task.
Now you can always know how much time you have spent on each project.
You can easily sum up the times of mulitple apps, and it saves your time on quit. It also allows for saving a current time to a file, and opening it back up later.

ZZ Timer is a sleep timer for iTunes for Mac.

ZZ Timer fades out and turns off iTunes at the time you select. Its just this simple.

Meditation Timer is a really simple cocoa app, but nonetheless I thought a few would find it useful. I actually wrote it for myself, because I often meditate alone and dont want to watch a clock. I found some good sounds, gave it an appropriate interface, and thats about it. You can also add your own sounds by adding them to the resource folder (see Meditation Timers help file). Its got a lovely interface inspired by the new unified title/toolbar look (which by the way I hope will become standardized

Application Timer is an AppleScript that will put a timer on any application.
Now you can leave your computer and not worry about an application quitting. Just set a timer! Does minutes or hours, too.
