BFP Recent Updates 1.0 comes as an easy-to-use and effective widget that brings links to the three most recent updates of the Blue Flame Politix Web site.

For users of Apples Backup 3, you can now backup your Check Off tasks and preferences.
To use this, youll need Apple Backup 3 which is available as part of their .Mac service.

The Check Resource Forks routine allows users of OS X, with the Unix subsystem installed, to check whether or not files have resource forks.

They can then take the appropriate measures to avoid damaging them when they use Unix binaries. The routine will, if possible, return a record with the filepaths of the files with resource forks. Extensive documentation is included.

Widget Update is a free Dashboard Widget that can automatically check for updates to the all the other widgets that you have installed.
Widget Update is a small utility that supports Apples software directory, DashboardWidgets.com, MacUpdate and Version Tracker. It will present you with a tidy link list of all the updates found, enabling you to read release-notes and download the the updates quickly and painlessly.

App Update is a small utiliy derived from the successful Widget Update, App Update enables you to check for updates to your share- and freeware applications at Apple, MacUpdate and VersionTracker. You will be presented with a tidy list of links to the detail pages of all the updates found.

Among the key features are an extensive online-help, a configuration editor to tailor App Update to your very personal collection of applications, limited support for Quicktime Components, Frameworks and Preference Panes, automatic checking for updates and Growl support.

Applications that were tested and found to be supported out-of-the-box at at least one update source are: Adium X, Azureus, BBEdit, BitTorrent, Camino, Colloquy, DiVA, DivX, Fetch Art for iTunes, Fire, Flip4Mac WMV, Gizmo Project, Google Earth, goPod, Growl, HexEdit, iCab, iTerm, LAME mp3 Quicktime Components and Framework, Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Suite, Mozilla Thunderbird, MPEG Streamclip, MPlayer OS X, OmniWeb, pearLyrics, Pod2Go, RealPlayer, ScummVM, Shiira, SixtyForce, Skype, StuffIt Expander, SubEthaEdit, TechTool Deluxe, Temperature Monitor, TeXShop, Toast Titanium, VLC media player, Xbench, XviD Quicktime Component.

Apart from those, many other applications are expected to work out-of-the-box as well. Others may require some additional configuration in the "Advanced" dialog. Please refer to the online-help.

Setup
In order to make App Update find the applications you want to monitor for updates, you have to set the directory (or directories) where you keep them through the "Path Settings" dialog on App Updates back. It is recommended to organize your share- and freeware applications in seperate folders rather than dropping them all directly into the applications folder.

NWN auto-updater is designed to enable owners of Macintosh Neverwinter Nights to automatically update their software to the latest available version, directly from the BioWare FTP site. Clicking the update button will go and check to see if any newer versions of the software are available, and will download and install them for you.
This application also includes support for the Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark expansion packs - it will install the expansion packs from the data contained on the Windows CDs, and it will also update them from the BioWare FTP servers.
Enhancements:
- V.99 RC4 is a fix for an install issue that was introduced into v.99.3 This should fix the issues with the install problems and HotU.
- This release (0.99 RC4) is a minor compatibility update. It includes the fixes from v.99.3 along with a fixed handling of installing HotU seperate from SoU (should one not have SoU for some reason.) And a revised install process that handles the directory change on the BioWare servers as implemented in 1.62.
- Of note is that v.1.62 of NWN for HotU does not include the NeverWinter module updates, so the installer now installs the nwclienthotu.tar.gz linux update on install to get a functioning HotU install on the Mac. This file is only installed durring the initial install as it is needed for compatibility and to get a base running version of HotU from the CD. (the HotU CD is 1.59 and does not have the updated module files for Linux on it).
