The Apple Chapter Tool allows you to create chapters within an MPEG4 AAC file created with iTunes 4.9 or later. Chapters, at a minimum, must include a Start Time and one other attribute. Chapters can be added to podcasts, which can then be published to the iTunes Music Store.

MovieChapterizer 2.98 is a comprensive tool which opens up a world of cool chapter usage in QuickTime Player. Use MovieChapterizer to create chapter names for favorite sections of your movies. When you're done, open the movie in QuickTime Player and use the chapter popup button to jump instantly to any chapter markers you added.

The picture above shows MovieChapterizer in action. Simply maove the playhead slider to a frame and click on the + button to add a chapter, giving it a name you choose. Add as many chapters as you want then save the movie.
Then open the movie in QuickTime Player or ReelBean and you'll see a popup menu to the right of the playhead slider. Click on the popup menu and you'll see the full list of chapters, as shown above. Select a chapter and QuickTime or ReelBean will jump straight to that section of the movie.
After quickly adding chapters to a movie with MovieChapterizer you'll never want to watch QuickTime movies again without having chapters available. At present MovieChapterizer can add chapters to a number of media formats, including QuickTime, AVI, MP3 and various others.

Tao Te Ching 1.0 is equipped many useful features which let users generate one of its chapters each time the application is opened, making it a nice addition to the Startup Items folder.
The Tao Te Ching is Lao Tzu's classic text of ancient Chinese philosophical poetry. The chapters can be saved as text files, and printed from the "File" menu. Also from the "File" menu, you can install an alias of Tao Te Ching into your Startup Items folder, so you can read a new chapter each time your Macintosh starts up.
