ChannelDisplay_EyeTV is a simple application that is used with EyeTV to display the Live TV window channel.

The channel displayed disappears after a few seconds only to reappear when the channel is changed or when the mouse enters the channel view. The channel display can be moved to any part of the screen. You can manipulate the color and size of the display in the Preferences.

Note: ChannelDisplay_EyeTV has only been tested on 10.3 "Panther" but should work on any OS X version.

Neutralise Channel is a little gem of a plug that lets you bleach your clip. Like channel control, this plug lets you reduce the amount of color a channel contributes to the clip.
Unlike channel control, though, reducing the amount of color does not reduce the clips brightness. Thus, if you bleach out all color you end up with a black and white (grayscale) clip.
Neutralise Channel is very useful to tone down color inside a clip to make it appear more somber. Neutralise Channel is also able to make a clip appear aged or if it was filmed with a 70s era super-8 camera (use the flicker plug afterwards to introduce the characteristic super-8 flicker).
Main features:
- area of effect: define the area of the clip you want to be affected by the plug-in. all other parts of the clip remain untouched.
- red, green, blue: use these sliders to reduce the amount of primary color in the picture.

The solution: An AppleScript that opens a Google Map centered on the Bay Area with the traffic information layer turned on. It then takes a screenshot and saves it in the "Traffic" folder on the desktop, with the date and time as part of the file name.
