Get Location is a small AppleScript that shows a dialog with the name of the current Location Manager location.

Completly freeware.

Unfortunately, the routines in the Finder which recognize something as a valid URL leave a lot to be desired. In particular, URLs using non-standard protocols or containing actual spaces are almost never recognized properly.

Internet Location Maker lets you manually create an internet location clipping with any URL you want.

Web Location Converter 2.1.1 is an application which supports to convert bookmark files from Internet Explorer (.url) format to Safari (.webloc) format, and vice versa. Also handles URLs in plain text files.

System Services provide functionality regardless of what applications youre using. Once installed, they are accessed from the Services submenu in the application menu (the one to the right of the Apple menu), and often act on the selected text in the frontmost application.

Objective-C Services provides services to convert multiple Objective-C instance variable declarations to accessor method prototypes and implementations.

Objective-C Services is very useful for Cocoa programmers and it includes full source code.

MTP Location X sets the SMTP server for any or all of your mail accounts for each location in both Entourage X and in Entourage 2001 in OS X.
Even if you have advanced SMTP settings, such as SMTP authentication or SSL, the script will take care of everything automatically.
With SMTP Location X you can also choose which mail accounts to receive mail at each location.
Enhancements:
- Ignores Exchange accounts in Entourage 2004, since neither SMTP servers nor Send & Receive All schedule can be set for Exchange accounts (which work automatically).
- With v2.2, an error message would appear on every script run if you have an Exchange account (even when set to be skipped by the PREFS script).

Location Station 1.0.1 is such an easy-to-use Internet Location utility designed to help users create Mac OS 8.5 Internet Location documents -- URL's, e-mail addresses, newsgroups and ftp sites.

You can drag and drop text from your Internet Browser right into Location Station's text window. Location Station will either prompt you to choose a location for new documents or automatically save documents into a pre-determined folder.

There are four menu command shortcuts to help automate the selection of document types along with an option to quit automatically or remain open after each save. Once you've configured the utility's preferences, you can operate the utility without any extra mouseclicks.
