Big Cat is a contextual menu plug-in for OS X that gives you a Scripts submenu.

You can attach your own AppleScript scripts and run them from the Finder and other applications that support contextual menus (such as BBEdit, Internet Explorer, and Eudora).

Fat Cat is a simple zap2it client.
To use Fat Cat you must first signup with zap2it. Use the following certificate code JYXN-DU3N-IBUT while signing up. Login to the zap2it website and setup a TV lineup. Download Fat Cat and put the same login and password you use for the zap2it site in the preferences dialog. Load the listings with Fat Cat.
Main features:
- Choose how many hours you want to download (between 1 and 12)
- View whats playing on selected channel (see 3). Double clicking in this list adds an entry to the selections at the bottom(see 5)
- Displays channels chosen from lineup setup on your zap2it account
- Shows description of current selected program (see 2)
- A list of items chosen for viewing by double clicking in the program list (see 2). This list can be rearranged by dragging and dropping. Items can be removed with the delete key.

The Cat Search plugin implements the PBCatSearch function of the Mac OS File Manager. This is a very fast routine to find specific types of files on a volume. The MacOS tool Sherlock (aka Find File) uses this function to do its quick search on volumes.
This plugin also shows how you can allow your RB app to access complex data structures inside the plugin without having to create a REALbasic Control or Class, something that is not yet possible for Windows plugins (the trick is that you create a temporary structure inside the plugin and then provide accessor functions to get and set the individual elements of that structure).

Catenator is a simple drag & drop AppleScript that uses the unix cat command to concatenate or join your files together.
Before the files are catenated they are sorted alphabetically by PATH (not just the name). Also keep in mind that alphabetical order may be slightly different than sort by name order in the Finder.
Enhancements:
- checks file types before catenating (to make sure its not trying to catenate a folder).
- suggests an output name based on drag & dropped files.

When used with the Big Cat contextual menu plugin, the Big Cat Text Scripts scripts perform actions on selected text. Included scripts: DICT Lookup, Search Google (improved), Search Eurodicautom, Search Encarta, Open URL, Make Entourage Note, Make iCal ToDo, Make iCal Event.

Scripts for Big Cat is a collection of 3 scripts for “Big Cat” a system for running scripts from contextual menus.

Stuff 1.0 — works on Files.
This script improves on the “Stuff” script included with Big Cat. If multiple files and/or folders are selected, they will all be stuffed into one archive (instead of multiple separate archives). In addition, if DropStuff was not running before this script is run, the script will quit DropStuff after the archive is created (if DropStuff was running already, it will not be quit).

Zip 1.0 — works on Files.
The same as Stuff, above, but instead uses DropZip to create Unix- & PC-compatible zip files.

Word Count 1.0 — works on Text.
Puts up a dialogue box showing the number of characters and the number of words in a text selection.
