i Cal Time Zone Fixer is a utility that prevents Apples iCal from changing the start and end times of calendar events when your Macs system time zone changes.

If youre an iCal user and you travel, you may have noticed that whenever you change your Macs time zone iCal moves all of your appointments by the difference in hours between the old time zone and the new one.

This makes it very difficult to manage calendars with appointments in different time zones, such as meetings on a business trip.

i Cal Time Zone Fixer addresses this problem by forcing iCal to keep all dates in the current system time zone. Since theres no difference between the calendars time zone and the systems, iCal leaves the times alone.

Timezone is a simple Yahoo! widget that allows you to create a list of cities and the time there now!

Memory Contents Fixer 1.0 is an effective tool that can be widely used to look for an invisible file called "Memory Contents" in your system folder and offer to delete the unused existing file for you. This "Memory Contents" file normally is used to hold the computer's virtual memory. However, when you turn virtual memory off under OS9, this file is not always deleted.

File Date Fixer 1.0 offers you a free tool allowing you to look for files and folders on your local drives with invalid creation or modification dates. Specifically, it looks for dates before 1984 or later than one year into the future. The program resets the dates on these files/folders to a date and time of your choosing ("now' by default).

Latency Fixer is a tool designed to report to the host application that it has a latency (controlled by the plug-in parameters) but does not actually apply any processing to the audio signal. This causes the host to use its own latency compensation to advance the audio fed into the plug-in by the requested amount.

This is useful to compensate for e.g. routing audio via outboard effect processors, where the audios journey out of your audio interface and back in to the computer introduces a latency into the signal. For example you may find it useful in conjunction with Logics Helper->I/O plug-in.

For it to work, the host application must support plug-in delay compensation and the feature must be turned on. Recent versions of Logic and Digital Performer support this feature, for example. (Preferences->Audio->General in Logic.)

In general applications will not respond to changes in the latency setting during playback. If you need to interactively set the latency, try setting this plug-in to a large setting and then using my Buffer Delay plug-in to experiment with different settings. Once youve found the correct values, subtract the Buffer Delay delay from the latency setting and remove the Buffer Delay plug-in.

Unfortunately Logic 6 does not respond to changes of latency at all, even when playback is stopped.

As a workaround, Latency Fixer remembers its last used settings and uses them as defaults when creating a new instance of the plug-in, which is the only time Logic 6 queries the latency. Logic 7 works properly, in that it responds to latency changes in the plug-in.
