And what they haven't done is mess up the game. As Team 17 explain it, the problem with moving the game into three dimensions was one of the technology allowing them to do a good job of randomly generating and destroying landscape. It was not until they were confident that the technology they had developed allowed for both true-3D landscape deformation as well as the faithful translation of the established Worms visual style, that they were prepared to do the 3D thing. This hack includes sound effect replacements for many of Wolfenstein's sounds. The new sounds are based on clips from "Weird Al" Yankovic's music, his movie UHF, his Disney special, and his MTV special Al TV. It also includes an ALenstein title screen and a sound effects test level. ALenstein brings Al-style humor to the classic Wolfenstein game!
Please note that since ALenstein is a Wolfenstein 3D mod, and Wolfenstein is a Classic application, this game will not run natively in Mac OS X. You can try running it in a classic Mac emulator.
