Free burn after reading software for mac

Well, my dad got a new eMac and asked me for an easy way to burn a CD from a folder. So I created this small application. You just drop a folder on it, insert a CD-R or DVD-R, hit the Write button and your CD is burned.

Because of a bug with Mac OS X 10.3 in the Speed Test, currently no Speed Test is performed before burning is started. So burning may fail if the source folder cant deliver data fast enought. (e.g. with a folder from a network volume with a bad or low performance connection.)

This application is freeware and provided as is. Donations are welcome.

iTunes 3.0 or later, Roxio Toast Titanium 5, connected Apple iPod.

Tarot Reading Widget does Tarot readings right on your dashboard.
It can do 10 different card spreads and uses images from the Rider-Waite Deck.

The widget can save a reading as an HTML file to view again later in your favorite web browser.

Speed Reading III was developed to help you improve your reading speed. The average reader reads at about 200 words per minute (wpm) with a typical comprehension of 60%. The top 1% of readers do much better, reading at more than 1000 wpm with a comprehension of 85%. Such highspeed reading requires serious concentration.

This application lets you try reading by looking at two midpoints on each line and continuing to move forward without going back and re-reading. Ten text sources are included plus you can choose your own text source.

When preparing to use your own text source, remove empty lines because the application will stop reading a text source upon encountering an empty line. If the text source is longer than can be held by the window, you will see only the amount that fits into the window.

You can adjust the speed of the moving window from approximately 50 wpm to 1500 wpm in four ranges (very slow, slow, medium, and fast). A slider is provided to adjust the speed within each range. The approximate speed (words per minute) is displayed.

ImageBurner is a front-end for the MacOS X "hdiutil" command-line tool.
It allows you to easily burn disk images (such as ISOs) to CD-ROM or DVD-ROM using drag-and-drop, without messing with the command line or having to purchase Toast.
Theres nothing you can do in ImageBurner that you cant do in Apples Disk Utility, but ImageBurner provides a simpler interface.
