Free bulk mail software for mac

Bulk Mailer is a small AppleScript whick allows Claris Emailer to send bulk mail, such as a newsletter.

With Bulk Mailer you will be able to send commercial mailings to up to several hundreds of email addresses very easily.

Enter the subject of the message, the date you want the mail to be sent, the address book group to send it to, and the file that contains the text of the message. The script creates a folder using the date-to-be-sent as the folder name, and puts a draft of the message in that folder.

I started a little business a couple weeks ago and needed to send out a customer service bulletin. To my surprise, I could not find any good AppleScripts for doing this on OS X.

First, I downloaded a shareware application called "Mailings", couldnt get it to authenticate with my SMTP server, and got no reply from the developer. So, I did not buy it. Then I wrote a script using Mail.app, and it would work for awhile but then tell me that the server rejected my password.

So, for my next bulletin I used Microsoft Entourage and, after some tinkering, got it to work. There are lots of comments in the code, and besides changing my example subject, recipient list and message to yours, you will probably need to do some other tinkering to meet your needs. I t works with Entourage from Office 2004; I do not know whether it will work with earlier verisons of Office. Have fun, and please send me an email if you learn more about it than I did.

Bulk reply is a free script allows you to send a bulk reply to email messages received in Entourage.

Simply highlight any number of incoming messages, run the script, and it will create a single new email message addressed to senders of the selected messages.

Before creating the message, it will ask if you want to add the recipients to the "To", "CC" or "BCC" fields of the message.

Serial Mail 4.6 is built as a plug-in for the Mail application which can generate serial mailings (mail merge, bulk mail) using data provided by an Address Book group.

The script will process the message body of the (selected) template message and replace certain tags by their corresponding value from the Address Book for each recipient. You may use custom data by specifying your own labels in the "related names" section of the persons Address Book entry (e.g. "Assistant", "Customer number", etc.) and the script will replace the corresponding tags by the corresponding Address Book values (Example: Use the script to inform students of their score (and other stuff), which is stored in AddressBook).

The program supports almost any of the data fields of the OS X Address Book, including user defined fields. The template rules are also applied to the subject line (so you may generate custom subject lines). Rich text emails may be created (but plain text templates are processed faster).

Scale N Mail is a simple application that makes scaling images easy. It can also email scaled images using Apple Mail or Microsoft Entourage. Scale N Mail is freeware.
This is helpful if you want to use the scaled image in any application that accepts image drops (other email programs, image editors, web page creation software, word processing documents, etc.)
Main features:
- You scale an image by resizing the Scale N Mail window.
- Image proportions are preserved.
- Once you have scaled the image to the desired size you have the following options:
- 1 mail the scaled image. - select the email application by clicking the appropriate radio button at the top , right of the window (Mail or Entourage) - click the "Create email message" button on the toolbar
- 2 Save the scaled image. Drag the scaled image from the Scale N Mail window to your desktop or a finder folder or click the "Save scaled photo" button on the toolbar.
- 3 Drag and drop the scaled image to another application.

Elements Mail 1.0 comes as a helpful companion to the cloud computing application, Elements CRM. Serving as the connection between your email account and Elements CRM, Elements Mail automatically records relevant emails between you and your customers. Once configured, Elements Mail takes over so you can get back to business.

Mojo Mail 2.6 brings a very tractable and powerful mailing list manager. Its main advantage to systems like Majordomo and Mail Man is in its web-based control panel. Anything that has to be done with a mailing list can be handled from your browser. No weird commands to remember, no typing into a terminal shell. This makes Mojo Mail extremely friendly and intuitive. Mojo Mail is being used by many people to replace Majordomo. More control can be given to individual list owners and less work has to be done by the system administrator. Mojo Mail works great for individual sites and as a ASP (Application Service Provider)

Mojo Mail has all of the standard things you would expect (or should expect) from a mailing list manager; opt in subscribing, opt out unsubscribing, message archiving and message sending. Since Mojo Mail is a web-based application, you can also customize the look and feel of the pages that your visitors will interact with. Mojo Mail also has light group discussion support.

The "Stuff and Mail" droplet creates archives of dropped files, folders or a combination of them, onto the desktop, moving existing items to the trash and attaches them to a new message document within the email client.

The script was originally written for Eudora Light 3.1.3 on Mac OS 7.6.1 but is easily adaptable to any other scriptable email client by editing the source code.
