Update Finder Front Window 1.0 comes as a little AppleScript program which can tell the Finder to update its front-most window. It is very useful when you work with image files and programs that add custom icons to files.
For instance, if you use GraphicConverter to rotate your pictures, their icons will be rotated as well, but the Finder is not going to see the change until you restart it. That's what Update Finder Front Window is for: it tells the finder to update its icons in the frontmost window.

- Install the package using Pacifist. (The installer wont run unless you have a new iMac.)
- Run Front Row Enabler from the disk image. This will patch OS X (BezelServices.framework and BezelService.loginPlugin, to be exact) so it thinks you have an iMac G5 remote.
- Reboot
- Open the Keyboard & Mouse Preferences and enable the Front Row shortcut under the Keyboard Shortcuts tab.
- Press cmd-esc and enjoy! (You may also change this shortcut in the Keyboard & Mouse Preferences)
NOTE: Do not use Enabler with Intel based Macs, such as the MacBook or Mac Pro. Using Enabler with with an Intel Mac will damage your Mac OS X system files.
Warning: This process is not supported by Apple Computer, Inc. and may result in unintended damage to Mac OS X.
