SystemLoad is a diagnostic application assisting you in the detection of cooling or power supply problems with Apple Macintosh computers.
The tool can put a user-definable load onto one or more processors.
This can help in diagnosing the following issues:
- problems with the cooling system or temperature sensors,
- problems with chirping noise experienced on some G5 systems and some portable computers,
- problems with battery units of portable computers.
When desired, the tool can put the processor(s) under the maximum load possible, generating the highest possible temperatures and highest load on the power supply. You so can verify if all components (CPUs, sensors, cooling subsystem, power supply unit, battery unit) are working correctly when they are pushed to their design limits.
No installation is required, no administrator permissions are needed, nothing is changed in the operating system.
Enhancements:
- By user request, the application now remembers the last load value and the number of processors to load the next time it is started.

CVS Set-Up is an assistant whose purpose is to help configure a CVS server on a Mac OS X machine.
CVS Set-Up Assistant currently only supports CVS pserver configuration.

DropObliter8 is a simple BSD shell script which calls the rm -r (delete all) command. This script was then turned into a droplet application using Wilfredo Sanchezs (wsanchez@apple.com) wonderful DropScript application for Cocoa. Note that DropScript is covered by the enclosed Apple License.

DropObliter8 is a trivial tool to produce once you have the likes of DropScript to hand. I take no credit for this instant hack - but it does show how useful DropScript can be.

The Assistant Kit is a kit to create a Set-up/Installation Assistant using the same User Interface than the one of the Apple Installer or Display Calibrator utility. Its made of a collection of Cocoa sources and resources that are available under a BSD License.
At the moment of this writing, the documentation for this Kit is not complete yet. Nevertheless, theres a sample project included with the source code which will show you how to tuse this kit and you can have a look at the source code for the CVS Set-up Assistant which is available under a BSD License too.

Advisory Check is a tool for monitoring the security of installed software. Advisory Check gathers security advisories using RDS/RSS/XML feeds, compares them against a list of known software, and alerts you if youre vulnerable.
NOTE: Advisory Check is licensed and distributed under the terms of the BSD License.

- Windows hosts can now be monitored remotely by using the MS-RPC protocol. INSTALL and install.sh files have been added.
