Mac Breakout 1.0 is a game considered a clone of the classic game "Breakout".

Blorkout is a modern breakout clone, and includes a level editor to create your own levels with ease!

Blorkout is a game based on the game Breakout. Simply break all the bricks (or break 4/5 of them and hit the level up brick) to advance to the next level. Whenever you drop a ball you lose some sheilds.

When your sheilds are depleted then its game over. There are different types of bricks. The standard one hit to break bricks, metal bricks (takes 2 hits to break), indestructible bricks and TNT bricks, which blow up the surrounding bricks around them (except indestructible bricks and other TNT bricks).

If you got a game over, you can continue from where you left off. If you quit the game though you cant continue.

My latest game creation is called Badonkoid (Buh-DONK-oid). Its a variation on the breakout theme, but different from any that I have ever played. In Badonkoid, you control 4 paddles, one on each side of the playing field. There is a single ball that you are bouncing around the screen using these four paddles. There are no walls. Each time, you bounce the ball off of a paddle, a block is created in the playing field. The blocks are breakable.

Badonkoid is the most twisted breakout variation you have ever seen.

The object of the game is to continue to bounce the ball and break the most blocks. If the ball reaches any of the four walls before it is bounced, the game ends.

The level increases every 10 blocks that are broken. As the level increases, the speed of the ball increases, until level 40. Level 40 and beyond maintain the same speed. Also, as the level increases, the number of created blocks increases. On level 0, there is 1 block created with each paddle hit. On level 1, there is 1 block created each paddle hit + 1 block created every 4 paddle hits. On level 2, there is 1 block created with each paddle hit, and 2 blocks created every 4 paddle hits. And so on and so forth for each additional level.

3d Brick Bash! (v1.4) is a 3D version of breakout for Macintosh. I originally released it in 1993 (around the time Mac OS 7 came out) as a modestly-priced shareware game. It got pretty good exposure for a few years, and thanks to the publisher SofSource it was even available for a short while in CompUSA and other stores.
In 2000 I released version 1.4 (downloadable from this page) removing the shareware notices and making it free for anyone to own and play. While the computers it was written for are obsolete many times over, the game still works!
My thanks to everyone who played it over the years, especially the people who registered! Version 1.4 is downloadable below.

Bounce balls, destroy bricks, save the earth from alien invation and blow up ufos all in one game!

In Breakout, move the cursor to move your paddle. For every brick you destroy you earn 20 points. For every 1000 points you gain an extra ball.

In Pong move the cursor to move your paddle - you play against a computer opponent and the first to score 10 wins.

In Space Invaders use the arrow keys to move your ship and the space bar to fire. For every wave of aliens you destroy you earn an extra life.

In Spacewar! you fight against a number of alien opponents (1 to 3) and the goal is to destroy as many ships as you can in a minute (you and the aliens respawn when you are destroyed). The race who destroys the most ships is the winner. At the start of the game you can select your ship stats - shielding, engine speed and weapon fire rate.

Visual1553 is a simple program to show you the breakout of Mil-Std-1553 command and status words. For the command words it will show you the remote address, the transport mode, the subaddress (or mode if applicable) and the word count (or mode code if applicable). For status words it will show you the remote address and the bit statuses.

Its handy if youre deep inside a PASS or Chapter 8 recording with a hex editor and hand decoding the values. Just enter the 16 bit hexadecimal value and quickly know with confidence what the command word or status word breaks down as.
