I would be the first to say that Qualcomms Eudora is a great email program, but it does have a few strange habits that really irk me:
- It beeps if one tries to save an outgoing email message that doesnt need saving.
- It beeps AND displays a dialog if one accidently taps a key while reading an email message.
- When "Alert" email notification is set, it puts up an alert just to tell me I have NO mail.
These patches simply remove this unnecessary user interaction.

Random Wok Aperture export plugin gives the names of the images it exports random file names.
Random file names are useful if you want to hide the sequence or meaning of the file names or if a random ordering is needed for a program that displays them in alphabetical order.
Random Wok exports random names with length and type that can be selected and you can also provide a prefix and a postfix strings that are applied to the ends of the random part of the name.
I have extensively blogged the development of Random Wok and posted all the articles together on the Random Wok Aperture Plugin page. If you are interested in writing your own plugin, this will give you a good idea of the level of skill and experience needed.
Controls
Kind: Case: Length: The style of the random part of the name is selectable among numeric, hex, alpha, and alphanumeric. All except the numeric style allow the selection of character case: upper, lower, or both. The length can be varied.
Freeze with: tells Random Wok to use the characters in the text field to generate the random names. The same characters value will always create the same set of random file names for the same images if the other settings are the same. This can be useful if you want to create links to random images and be able to repeatably export and upload them without breaking the links. With the freeze with checkbox unchecked names are completely random.
Prefix and Postfix are added to the beginning and end of the random part.

BlogMate is a nice and simple plug-in for TextMate editor that allows creating and editing blog posts for some limited types of blogs from a floating palette within TextMate.
BlogMate is currently at version 0.2, and is beta-quality software. I hacked it together over a single dull weekend in Sunnyvale whilst sipping cheap wine which was purchased in a box. Your blog is precious to you. You MUST backup your blogs database before trying BlogMate.
BlogMate currently supports the MetaWeblog API for remote communication with your blogging software.
Several blogging software packages claim support for the MetaWeblog API, but I dont know which ones other than WordPress. WordPress is also the only software with which BlogMate has been tested.
If you dont know whether your blogging software supports the MetaWeblog API, check your softwares documentation. Dont ask me. I truly dont know, and will only laugh at you snarkily while sipping my boxed wine.
BlogMate is meant to be a simple way to create and edit posts on your blog. It is not a full-blown blog management software application, and probably never will be. You currently cannot delete posts or edit timestamps, etc. from BlogMate.
If you are looking for that type of tool, I highly recommend Red Sweater Softwares excellent MarsEdit application. MarsEdit is mature, polished, full-featured, and well-supported. Four things that BlogMate is not.
And, as I recently learnt, MarsEdit even has a cool Edit in External Editor feature which allows integration with TextMate. So you should go check it out, buy it, and forget you ever heard about BlogMate.

Have you ever been close to a really large rgb display (like the ones they use in pop concerts)? If you look at the picture from close up you will notice that the picture consists of a multitude of red, green, and blue lights. RGB Trini emulates this effect.
RGB Trini will break down your clip into red, green, and blue lights. You can choose the algorithm it uses for this: either scatter the lights (like in more advanced displays) or use red, green, and blue columns.
With RGB Trini you will be able to emulate a really large display. Its a cool effect with few real appliances, we know. This plug was originally created for one specific purpose, and after we were finished we thought that its too cool to let you not have it.
