Using the power of Salling Clicker you can browse your local network for Bonjour aka Zeroconf enabled sites.

If Mini Bonjour browser finds any thing, you can then select that site and Mini Bonjour browser will give you a full listing of details of that site. For example, IP address, Port number, Host name, Service name and Service type.

Browsejour will allow you to browse the services that are being broadcasted on your local network via Bonjour, see the hosts that are broadcasting that service type, as well as giving you a description of what that specific service is (as outlined at dns-sd.org).
Enhancements:

Observation Post allows you to monitor system events.
Main features:
- Observes changes in: Bonjour, Network, Sleep, USB, FireWire, Volumes, Files, Folders, Smart Folders - uses Growl to post notifications.
- Provides tables of the currently connected: Bonjour Services, USB Devices, FireWire Devices, and Volumes.
- Allows the user customisation of icons for USB/FireWire devices and Bonjour services via drag-n-drop.
- Can be used as a application launcher for Bonjour services (Bonjour services are associated with applications or protocols). Also provides information about suitable Bonjour applications to install.
Enhancements:
- Fix bug that caused it to crash on awake from sleep.
- New unified toolbar look.

This is a simple AppleScript droplet which includes a binary of the TiVoDecode program. Just drag and drop your .tivo files on it and get an MPEG-2 video out. You can then use other tools to convert that MPEG-2 into something else.

Documentation is included. If you need help getting your .tivo files onto your Mac or converting MPEG-2 files into something more useful, try Google.

Problems with the decoding (such as missing audio and other weirdness) are best addressed on the tivodecode sourceforge page. I will not be supporting this program beyond the functionality of the basic AppleScript wrapper.

To get your TiVo files onto your Mac, you have two options: First, try Galleon, with or without the launcher bundle for OS X. Or, if you prefer, you can download straight from your browser by typing in your TiVo’s IP address prefixed by https:// (rather than http://). Your login is “tivo” and your password is your Media Access Key..

If you’re using Safari and have Bonjour bookmarks enabled, your TiVo should just publish itself to your bookmarks, so you can select that link (probably called something like “dvr-123.local.”) and then just add the https:// in front of it to get to the video listing.

These videos wont play terribly well in Quicktime. You’re better off using VLC or something else for video playback.

iChatOnLogin logs you into your iChat accounts ( AIM/Bonjour/Jabber ).
Why not start iChat instead ? You can, but then you have iChat.app running, which I dont want to have running while not chatting.
Its intention is to have a small application on login startup and log you into your iChat accounts.
It uses the iChat preferences for figuring out which accounts to log in.
Normaly you add the iChatOnLogin to your Startup Items list and forget about it. Everytime you log in now, you get logged into your iChat accounts. Have Fun - Jolly aka Patrick Stein.

TiVoDecode Manager (TDM) is an Applescript Studio front-end (i.e. "wrapper") that automates the process of downloading of TiVo Series 2 files to your computer and decoding into MPEG-2 files. It is not made for Series 1 (ever) or Series 3.
